Foo Fighters. Everlong is one of my favorite songs ever, especially acoustic. There are so many good bands left that I could have easily chosen, hopefully some I was thinking about are still around when I pick again shortly.

I'll jump in if nobody else steps up to take Sang's spot. There are definitely better/more nuanced musical opinions than mine on this board, and I would have no problem if someone else wanted to get into this rumble. That being said, I have really enjoyed this thread and I love a good game. Keep me as a last resort.
Besides, if you start with the Beatles then how bad can you really do?

Just what the fuck do you think you are doing?
What's the problem with my pick, did I miss something or did you just want them?
carini12 is up next but he may be offline right now. If nobody on here takes on Sang's spot before he posts his selection, we will end Round Two. Rounds Three-Six will feature nineteen selections.
carini12, please give me a few minutes to put a Round Three bumper in after your pick.
Watching the first round, the two bands I thought would surely be gone early were Fleetwood Mac and EW&F. When the Mac fell to the middle of the second round was when I really began to worry about how far EW&F would fall. No more falling boys.
This is a group with amazing talent, amazing longevity and amazing showmanship. I'm glad I get the chance to get these guys onto my squad.

I'm back on the clock, if it is ok can I post in the morning? I have a pretty good feeling of who it would be if people want to just get on with it. I'm just a little sleepy.

After sleeping on it, I'm going to buck my previous choice and go with a more personal pick. I don't get another selection for so long that I'm worried I will miss out on these guys if I don't grab them now.
I will take Simon and Garfunkel at #41
My parents loved these guys so I got to listen to a lot of them growing up. There is a warm place in my heart for a lot of their songs. Personal feelings aside, the main factors for the pick is how Paul Simon is such a gifted songwriter and Art Garfunkel has awesome hair. Both qualities are essential elements of the squad I'm trying to build.
Seriously, marvel at that mop of his.
The music is fresh as hell. So many great songs, and when I look at all the awesome covers by awesome musicians it becomes clear what an impact they have made.
I'm feeling groovy about this selection.
In case it is up for debate, I will cite this earlier source about their legitimacy as a band.
