Can I suggest a Waiver add/drop system where you can drop someone you are unhappy with but can't seem to find a trade partner for and after 6 rounds a waiver draft in reverse regular draft order to fill any roster openings? Can also allow for 2 for 1 trades if we allow this

I was trying to think of something like this earlier. I like that idea.

Im against that, because it would allow people to throw 3-4 artists to trade for one, and then pick up artists they know wont be selected. That cheapens the strategy aspect of the draft. It makes it far too easy.

I was thinking we would only be able to pick up one, definitely wouldn't want it to be like you said.
1) I like the idea of 2 or more for 1 trades. _1a) I don't think it cheapens the draft strategy because if people go undrafted then obviously they are not as highly valued by the people on this board. _1b) I don't this this board is biased towards any single artist enough to outweigh having multiple less valued artists
2) I think a waiver system is probably too complicated for the scope of this draft _2a) If we do a waiver system, I do not support a reverse draft order, perhaps some sort of FAAB
Also, since this draft is the most interesting (to me atleast) and also somewhat similar to fantasy football in that we are drafting multiple positions for a cohesive unit, I really want to find a way to carry out some sort of fantasy season/tour after we're done with the voting. If we were all talented producers, I would suggest that we go head-to-head over a number of weeks by creating a mashup/mix/whatever utilizing your fantasy band. Unfortunately, I assume that most of us (myself included) are not talented enough to make that an enjoyable experience for anyone. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on how to make something work cause all my ideas are either lame or not possible.
Idk how to select the tag people, so someone do that for me please or teach me. Thanks
Idk if there is a better way, but I just type @ then the username. The tricky part is that some people have a different username than display name, so you have to hover over their display name to see the username.

With my 3rd round pick, I'm taking a man who is a legendary figure in jazz, funk, fusion, and electronic music. He'll be playing piano/keyboard/synths/keytar/vocoder, and also act as my bandleader and arranger of any additional horns or woodwinds. My pick is...
Herbie Hancock!
Herbie's early-to-mid 70s Headhunters era jazzy funk is a lot of what I'm wanting my band to sound like.
