Yay!! This means people might actually like my lineup!! Seriously I had a post made for a frontman last round and changed last minute and same thing happened this time. Who knows if I'll even end up with said frontman at all
Forgive the delay; I just had a few new ideas that needed to mingle for a bit in order for a clear direction for my band to come forth. I HAVE A VISION, PEOPLE!
For my second pick in the Build-A-Band Draft, I pick the ever-captivating St. Vincent. I believe her unique sound and penchant for interesting melodies will prove fruitful as the other pieces of this band fall into place.
Edit: She will be my guitarist.

I had thought of doing a a hip hop group at first but didn't seem creative enough... I may actually be able to fit a rapper into mine still. It'd just be a very odd setup to have a rapper in it BUT, there is one rapper that I think would be down for it and could make it happen... My big decisions now are whether I should try appeal to voters by getting big names that would possibly make for a good combo or to just stick to my guns and go with genre relevant artists that many people don't know and hope that the voters do their research (which they assuredly won't)

Stick to your guns and go with your people!!
If I do what I want for the next 4 rounds people might know barely know of 1 or 2 of my picks but knowing what I know about you, you will enjoy my band

Just based on the fact that you've Bootsy, I can just about promise I'll love your band. Haha.
I'm pretty sure I'll just stick to my guns but I'm gonna have one pick to really go outside the box and I'm just debating who I am gonna want to go with. It's largely gonna have to do with how unique I want the band to be because I could go with the rapper idea I mentioned earlier but I'm not sure how it'd work out in real life. It'd be the kind of thing that would either be considered musical genius or a complete crash and burn. Or I could play it safe and go with someone in the rock world that fits the group much more logically. Whoever I go with, that'll be about the only other big name in my lineup (except for people who are into the genre I chose, like myself.)

For my second round selection I pick a guitarist who can shred and rift with the best of them but generally prefers to just play really solid rhythm: Keith Richards. A student of the great blues men and early rock and rollers Richards knows how to drive a song just about as good as anyone out there. Also important is his versatility. He can contribute electric, accoustic, and slide guitar in a wide range of genres. He can also contribute on backup singing, bass, and songwriting.
