LOL at the L.A. Rams extending Jeff Fisher and Les Snead. That organization really needs to start from scratch, Goff, Gurley, Donald as the exceptions. Looks like they're going to keep going 4-12/7-9 at best.
This article brings up the possibility that the contract extension was done before the season with a one year option. The idea being that it was more of a restructure giving the Rams the option to fire him after this season with a smaller buyout which I hope is the case because giving him an extension would be a stupid, stupid, stupid move.

I couldn't believe they gave Tavon Austin a 4 year $42 million extension earlier this year. I guess they think he can be an Antonio Brown type talent if Goff ever became a decent QB.
Earl Thomas is one of my favorite Longhorn-alumni of all time even tho i dislike the Seahawks. Seeing him go down for the year sucks! I hope he doesn't actually retire. BUT it does open the window for the Super Bowl for the Cowboys even more which does not suck at all. 15-1 is looking more real every week. At worst we'll go 13-3.

Earl Thomas is the best Safety in the league and a ferocious tackler. UT or Seattle he is a lot of fun to watch on the field (I strongly dislike Seattle too), regardless of who your team is. Seeing him go down like that and immediately contemplate retirement is so damn sad. I really hope he is able to clear his mind a bit going through rehab and comes back stronger. I mean a few years ago who would've guessed Eric Berry would be back in the league doing work (yes much different case but still), so im hoping he's back next year. Also as much as I would love to see Dallas go 18-1 to finish out the season, I can see us have trouble with our remaining NFC East opponents and lets not sleep on the Bucs quite yet.

i dont know if new england is still the favorite with no gronk. I'd take oakland or KC over them today
I agree with the injury to Gronk ending his season I think that opens the door a bit for KC or Oakland. But as a Cowboys fan, I do NOT want to see us play KC. They have the only defense that truly scares me. They can bring the pressure, have ballhawks in the secondary, and their defense and special teams score points on a regular. Id shoot it out with Oakland all day compared to playing a scary defense like KC.
Wow. The Patriots just had two of the worst special teams plays I've seen in a bit back to back. The block earlier was legit though.
Shout out to their pa music supervisor. NWO by Ministry was great earlier.
his name is TJ Connelly, and he does the music for the Red Sox and Patriots and is one of the great DJs left doing radio work on the regular. You ever go to a game for either team, he has dozens of what he calls "situationals" - songs that he can drop in depending on what is happening in the game in front of him. Sometimes they're obvious - he played The Safety Dance tonight the Pats' first score - but sometimes they're clever and subtle.
My favorite is probably when he occasionally drops in "Waiting Room" by Fugazi while the opponent's coach/manager makes a long visit to the pitching mound. Maybe 5% of the crowd is gonna get that; to the other 95% it just sounds neat.
Adam Gase is a true QB-whisperer. Everywhere he goes, the QB improves. That defense is really good this year also. They should get the 6 seed in the AFC.
