Would like to see Sausage Party, but that cuts 15 minutes into Natalie Prass....and music > movies while at Bonnaroo. Also waiting two hours in the sun to barely not make it in for Birdman last year has kind of turned me off from the cinema tent.
yeah, pretty much my thoughts, too. There's a lot of good stuff but I'm thinking I'm only going to go to the Found Footage Festival and Trapped in the Closet. I was considering going to see Purple Rain since I could catch Bob Moses at Lolla, but then I remembered that they're actually playing at night at this fest, so.

One of my favorite screenings in the cinema tent was when they had the Reno 911 guys come and screen "Hell Baby" but also they played us a rejected pilot for an outer space sitcom they made for Fox. I had heard about it before but there's nowhere to really see it. So they brought it along and it was very funny.
I totally get the music > movies and I've never spent time in the cinema tent during prime hours of the festival but earlier on in the day or super late at night (after late nights or when you don't want to see other stuff) it's been awesome. The Pulp Fiction quote-along screening where they gave out cap guns was really fun.
It was packed and rocking in 2014, I remember right after I got in they started telling people it was full. Last year, not so much. I wouldn't be too worried about getting in.

With Sauasage Party having its first public screening at Bonnaroo and with Judd Apatow being billed as "& Friends", I think we have a strong chance of Seth Rogan being on the farm.
there has been some shuffling of the comeldy schedule. notable is sunday, adam devine is only doing one show now, and the first two shows go back2back, with one ending at 2:45 and the other starting at 2:45. really curious how that is gonna work.

I saw Ari at the comedy tent last year. I don't remember it well but apparently I enjoyed it enough that I was excited to see his name in this thread
i know they have scheduled time for the nba playoffs, but in recent years have they showed the nhl playoffs? i know they didn't last time the pens won the cup, but that was seven years ago. potential games five and six are going to be during bonnaroo and i'd like to have the option if either is an elimination game.

One year they also set up a sports bar and showed World Cup matches on the Lunar Stage before it was replaced after its one year with waterslides. I hope they will have an option for NHL fans somewhere. Surely they will, or maybe they want to keep as many of the 46,000 attendees at the 10 or so music stages so bands don't feel like they are playing to an empty field.
Have you seen hockey ratings for out of town markets in the US? They very well may not show any NHL. Most years the series is over before the festival so they don't have the same tradition that they have with the NBA finals.
