I would be okay with GA passes if like the rendering there were only a dozen total people. I can almost justify the $699, to avoid having to camp out early for a spot.

Yeah I know it won't be as sparse as the rendering, but I do wonder how many of those lawn/GA tickets there will be. I'm sure it'll be a serious land grab (complete with blankets and tarps) once the gates open.

Billboard said 40k out of the 70k capacity will be regular GA.

This seems a little better for the GA crowd than the seating chart makes you believe.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
How could they repeat this next year? 6 bands to attract the boomer demo and their $$, but no repeats.
Bruce, The Dead ... Stevie Wonder?
Gilmour, Clapton, Fleetwood Mac
It would be tough to come close to this again, but that's kind of the point of this I think.
Those you mentioned and then maybe Rush, Aerosmith, Peter Gabriel, Ringo, and Van Morrison. And that wouldn't duplicate the magnitude of this. Might have to rely on reunions if you wanted to try it again. (Simon and Garfunkel, The Dead (as much as possible of course), Talking Heads, Dire Straits, The Kinks, Genesis. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and The Eagles are all very unlikely and can't really happen, but I guess that hasn't stopped some other bands from doing it).

If anybody here has ever been to Global Citizen Festival in NY and been in the back of that crowd; I picture this going alot like that only you're paying more than $400 for it. Hoping for a livestream.

I wonder if they'll have the stage oriented differently from the main coachella stage? Impossible to tell from the reallllly popular country fair band rendering.
