Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I was gonna chime in that there are some tress, to the left of the main stage field, that one could dance under and technically they would be dancing under the Spanish moss, while enjoying MMJ. Fuzzy, it is good to see you coming back at SOSMP.
And yes, where is Phase II of the lineup?
Also, for new people to Florida and SOSMP, Spanish moss makes the most excellent of wigs and beards and mustaches and or pubes. Try it on and get a picture of yourself and friends wearing the Spanish moss. It will be a time, a memeroy that you will not shortly forget.
Actually I lied about Spanish Moss. First, it is not a moss at all. Second, it is not from Spain. Last, when it falls to the ground, red bugs and chiggers start take up shop in the moss. Do not wear it or you will be covered in Red Bugs!!

During Odezza last year, I saw a group of spun out kids rolling around in some of the moss near the back of the amphitheater. At one point they were even pulling it from trees and wearing it on their heads. I could only imagine how bad of a turn their night could have made with the right dosage and a potential infestation of redbugs in their clothes.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Hey friends so my crew is making it out to the fest this year for our first time at hulaween(been to sosmp once before). We have an rv and I was looking at the site and it seems they offer rv parking but it was over $400 on the site which sounds ridiculous to us just to park and maybe use the hookups. However it mentions you can park your rv in primitive camping for only $20. Obviously we won't have any hookups there but I'm trying to understand why should we pay a crazy $400 for an assigned spoto vs 20. Is it worth the extra 400 fee to get a spot and does anyone have any info to help us decide here? Is primitive camping for a rv just that big empty field or could we possibly get a close spot? Appreciate any input...

If you are not getting an Ele/water site, I do believe the bat house field or over in lot E( I think that is the letter) is your best opition. With an RV, you will not find a closer spot.

Nothing big really added, just mostly filler. A lot of good stuff there, but nothing earth shattering for sure since they gave most of that up in the 1st wave.

This will be my first Hula, and I am pretty stoked. Ready to start planning some costumes. I've seen people mention a theme. When do they usually announce that? What was last year's?

They'll probably announce the theme in September. Last year was Ghoul Train. Like soul train + halloween. I will say though don't expect everyone to be dressed according to the theme just go with what you feel.
I missed the Quixotic add. You know that's going to be a freak show. I caught a 2 am set at Waka back in 2015. They had their various fire dancers and that cat who rides the circle. Plus they are an exotic live act. For anyone who doesn't know them, fast-forward through some of these acrobatics clips. Oh, and I realize they aren't the only ones to bring that kind of show, but it should be a Top 5 undercard show. Hopefully it's super late.

Our camp is thinking of doing a march for Stormtrooper Thursday. Thursday night, we are talking about dressing up as Stormtroopers and marching to the Amphitheater Stage. We are Stormtroopers(ST) on shore leave(thanks Siggy). So for us, no other characters, That is for Wanee 2017. We are doing this on Thursday and we will be looking for as many STers as possible. FWIW, A ST helmet can be made out of 2 plastic milk jugs and we allow for your ST costume to be open for interpretation.

I read a SCI interview recently where they indicated they were doing Ghoul Train again, they said there was just a ton of material there to still work with. I loved last years set and won't mind at all if they do something similar.

I was lucky enough to meet and have short convo with Jason Hann July 3rd outside of Chastain Park and told him I'm a huge fan and told him last years ghoul train was one of the best set of music I've ever seen. He was super cool and down to earth and as of that night he said the theme was still up in the air but they are really considering another ghoul train because so many good songs to choose from and everyone loves funky jazzy disco.
I saw Quixotic at Waka '11. I enjoyed it. It was a nice Cirque du Soleil like change of the pace to the rest of the fest. I remember it was almost ruined for me before it started. I was lying up front waiting and conversation and some security guy came up and kicked the rail and yelled "Go to your tent if you want to sleep!". Those around me told hime I was just resting and was talking to them. The show started shortly after that. I won't have to worry about that nonsense at Suwanee.
