I'm good with my vote on Potent for now. Only Thing I disagree with Jimmy (sorry, what your handle is at the time you are Jimmy to me) on is that if the votes are split 3 ways that it is him that is mafia not me. My feeling on Jaz's innocence isn't from his vots but that he seemed to be the chosen final opponent for Zig.
Life got in the way for a while but I'm back now and should be my usual self from here on out.

I felt like the Zig-Krissy connection was good for a while. I admitted when that didn't hold water with everyone else I needed to rethink it. Then I did, and I said maybe it wasn't as solid as I thought. I still (for the 4th or 5th time) think you're acting out of retaliation rather than actually thinking I'm mafia. I can't ignore the fact that I'm alone in the Krissy-done-it boat. So, my unbiased re-read on Krissy honestly took me from 90% confidence to 50% at best. The most telling evidence against my theory is that on page 5 Krissy put Zig into the runoff when the wise mafia move would have been to stay quiet.

"Distancing tactic" - did you even look at this situation before you posted this? This was the beginning of the second runoff. Jaz, ZIG, and myself had 3 votes apiece. Two votes were free - Bacon and me. Bacon voted before I did and voted for Jaz. This wasn't a freaking distancing tactic - it was my only choice, which I noted at the time by saying that I wasn't about to vote for myself.

This is the post I responded to last night and to which I'll respond again, though Dr. Joe will stick ignore it and the rest of the town will go on their merry way because apparently the town doesn't want to win.
In this post, Monky is stating a theory that one of the ZIG voters is mafia. We know LD is not mafia. That leaves the other 3 of us that he thinks could be mafia. Fine. I'm going to propose an alternate theory.
ZIG says the following in his mistake: "...if I make the runoff, all 3 of us will have to vote the same way to have a chance to save me..."
If Tainted, Krissy, or I am mafia with ZIG, then what ZIG says is blatantly false. The three of us have votes on him at this time already. The final runoff when ZIG said this was slated to be Jaz vs. ZIG. That leaves 3 empty votes - Jimmy, Carini, and Jaz.
Jaz votes for ZIG, obviously, which takes ZIG to 5 votes. *HOWEVER* Jimmy and Carini could both vote for Jaz. This does two things:
(1) if Tainted, Krissy, or I are mafia, it makes ZIG's statement false. All 3 of us would NOT necessarily have to vote the same way. Carini and Jimmy could vote Jaz, and mafia Tainted, mafia Krissy, or mafia Potent could keep their vote on ZIG, ensure the vote split, and create distance. If Carini and Jimmy split their votes, then the mafia presumably on ZIG would have to move or he'd be voted off.
(2) it also refers to the more obvious explanation that I am trying to sell here, which is that Carini and Jimmy are mafia with ZIG. They are voting together on me (while ZIG conveniently is already on Jaz and already stated he thought I was town, creating distance with Carini and Jimmy). Maybe I'm wrong and I'm seeing patterns that appear to be there but really aren't, but I don't think so. Does anyone see a flaw in this line of logic or a different perspective to explain what he could have meant?
This is the post I responded to last night and to which I'll respond again, though Dr. Joe will stick ignore it and the rest of the town will go on their merry way because apparently the town doesn't want to win.
In this post, Monky is stating a theory that one of the ZIG voters is mafia. We know LD is not mafia. That leaves the other 3 of us that he thinks could be mafia. Fine. I'm going to propose an alternate theory.
ZIG says the following in his mistake: "...if I make the runoff, all 3 of us will have to vote the same way to have a chance to save me..."
If Tainted, Krissy, or I am mafia with ZIG, then what ZIG says is blatantly false. The three of us have votes on him at this time already. The final runoff when ZIG said this was slated to be Jaz vs. ZIG. That leaves 3 empty votes - Jimmy, Carini, and Jaz.
Jaz votes for ZIG, obviously, which takes ZIG to 5 votes. *HOWEVER* Jimmy and Carini could both vote for Jaz. This does two things:
(1) if Tainted, Krissy, or I are mafia, it makes ZIG's statement false. All 3 of us would NOT necessarily have to vote the same way. Carini and Jimmy could vote Jaz, and mafia Tainted, mafia Krissy, or mafia Potent could keep their vote on ZIG, ensure the vote split, and create distance. If Carini and Jimmy split their votes, then the mafia presumably on ZIG would have to move or he'd be voted off.
(2) it also refers to the more obvious explanation that I am trying to sell here, which is that Carini and Jimmy are mafia with ZIG. They are voting together on me (while ZIG conveniently is already on Jaz and already stated he thought I was town, creating distance with Carini and Jimmy). If I don't make the runoff, Carini and Jimmy will have to put their votes on Jaz to save ZIG, and ZIG is already on Jaz, meaning that the three of them will vote together.
I can't take this anymore. Jimmy is repeatedly spouting bullshit and misstating what I am saying.
Potent > Carini > Jimmy
You've been pretty all over the place to me this round, but this does indeed make sense to me. I'm still not sold on you being town/Mafia, but this post does seem pretty clear. However, it also relies on the assumption that Zig has analyzed everything to its logical conclusion as much as you have here, which I'm not sure we should rely on. In my experience Mafia PMs are much more lackadaisical and conversational, so it's likely there was less thought put into it. Also - why, as the last person to vote, did you put your vote on someone without any votes (Carini), and then ten minutes before the deadline put it on someone else without any votes (Jimmy)? If it's because you're totally sold on them both being Mafia then I get it, but you could have just left your vote on Carini in that case. I also can't help but notice that it does nothing to advance a runoff, so in essence it's a lot of explanation just for a throwaway vote and throwaway vote change. Also maybe let's tone down the notion that we have to agree with you in order for the "townies to have a chance"? We got a Mafia in the first day. Our situation's not quite that dire.
And Jimmy, I do indeed see what you're saying about Zig's post being in response to Potent and how you think that it outs Potent, but I wouldn't rest all your laurels there. Some assumptions are concrete enough for us to rely on (such as Zig being Mafia, though it'd be ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS if he wasn't), but I don't think this is one such assumption. You could easily both be townies.
I'd advise both of you to take a step back and be less sure of yourselves. Hard-headedness isn't going to help us.
And let's not forget about the players with no heat on them and barely any votes...Mafia may be slipping through our fingers..

Responding to the bold in order:
1. I voted for Carini because I think he's mafia, and he hadn't had a single damn vote on him this entire game. I switched to Jimmy because I think he's mafia, but if he's town he's hurting us, and he's being obtuse either way (and deliberately if he's mafia and nobody else is seeing it and it's driving me nuts).
2. Point taken. Though, like Marlo Stanfield says, "my name is my name".
3. I tried to get someone to put heat on Carini with me (see #1) and nobody was interested. I even called out people I think are town (Jaz, Bacon, Krissy, Tainted) and not one of them were biting, though we do have one person, Tainted, voting for someone who I think is pretty clearly town, Bacon, because "tainted bacon".
Jaz, I agree that my theory on potent is not full proof. It's a game of imperfect information. But Potent continuously fails to properly address the zig post and his logic for why zero mafia were voting for ZIG at the time of the post is hallow and baseless.
I don't know that Potent is mafia or not. But with the information I have, he seems like someone that needs to be in the runoff.
Ref Notes -This round is scheduled to end on Monday, May 16th, at 9 am CDT.
The normal end time for this round would have fallen on the weekend, hence the Monday deadline. However, if all players not involved in the runoff lock their votes, I will end the round early.
