Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
i just updated my google spreadsheet to add the cinema tent. i didn't include the morning shows (before noon). so if you're getting up early enough to go to those, you're on your own, and also suck it.
I made a copy of your spreadhseet (thanks for doing all the work) and I added the genres for all the bands from this thread.
here it is in case anyone wants it. you get my tentative schedule on there for fREE
at first glance, there are some conflicts but its not the standard bonnaroo clusterquack that I was expecting. in fact it seems to work out pretty similar to a lot of the optimistic mocks people made.
Thurs: Con Brio > The London Souls > Papa D > Twin Peaks > sit through BORNS > Floozies Friday: RayLand Baxter > St. Lucia > Kamasi > Vince Staples > M83 > LCD > Tame Impala > Bob Moses > Lane 8 Saturday: Chris Stapleton > Band of Horses > Nathaniel Rateliff > Claypool Lennon > Pearl Jam > Miguel > ??? Sunday: Cymande > Kurt Vile > FJM > Sam Bush Band > Dead
Ellie Goulding vs. Sam Hunt vs. Claypool Lennon vs. Lamb of God is one of the funnier time slots in recent memory. Basically the four corners of this festival.

This schedule was made for me. I'll miss a few things I wanted to see (Bob Moses, maybe Lennon/Claypool to be pit for Pearl Jam), but it worked out almost perfectly for me. First year ever.
-Lots of conflicts on Thursday, as expected. No closing slot for Papadosio, but that shouldn't be a surprise, the closers are the top three names on that day.
-As bad as Friday could have been, I think Roo did a decent scheduling job. The most discussed potential conflict of M83/LCD/Tame is conflict free. Yes you gotta do some running between stages but you could still catch 96% of all three acts. And yes there are LN conflicts with Tame but we knew that would happen.
-The crowd for Chainsmokers at This tent will be ridiculous. Glad I won't be there.
-Saturday, being the weakest day, is actually laid out pretty well until LN. Having said that, Ellie at Which will be a Mumford at Which kind of situation I'm predicting, most overcrowded show of the weekend. Claypool/Lennon in That tent yessssssss... Thinking this night I'll be at Pearl Jam until after 1am? Hate I'll miss RL Grime, was hoping he would get the later slot. Still counting on the superjam sucking, if not I'll catch what I can. No real interest in Big Grams or Adventure Club. So if the superjam sucks will this be a seriously lame LN.
-Again, Sunday is laid out pretty well throughout the day for my tastes. Biggest complaint is not a big enough time slot for Ween, because I think they'll play over and start conflicting with the Dead (beyond the 15 minutes they already conflict).
And why do they keep making Sunday's the most boring day possible each year? "Oh hey, lets just throw all the boring Americana/Alt-Country on Sunday so people are really depressed before they leave"

Not even Bonnaroo can fuck up a schedule with so few good acts.

Agreed. I thought I would be camping for Pearl Jam pit on Saturday, but I doubt it now. Steve Gunn -> Nathaniel Rateliff -> Les Claypool works out nicely. Also, having Grace Potter and Chris Stapleton early on What makes the day feel out nicely.
I know a lot people are down on Sunday, but I am pretty excited for it. I will be at Which all day until The Dead. Hate to miss one of my favorite acts (Jason Isbell), however, I have seen him and twice and will be seeing him in October. Not that big of a deal.

point taken, but Bonnaroo could absolutely have fucked up a schedule with so few good acts. See 2015.

Overall, pretty pleased. Thurs/Fri nights have a few conflicts, but that's about it.
Ellie on Which and the the Superjam are going to be my most crowded sets. Why no late night Which set on Saturday, I wonder? (Don't even say Radiohead, I beg of you). At least the FLIPs drew from the slammed Superjam a bit last year.. The This Tent area is going to be disgusting.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
The only big conflicts for me are Twin Peaks and Vulfpeck, Cymande and Charles Bradley, and Claypool Lennon Delirium ending right as Pearl Jam starts. I've been going since 2010 and every year there is a conflict where I can't see all of Claypool's set.
Lol, wow, Saturday's LN schedule is fucking awful. A whopping total of 5 acts playing LN with a dark Which Stage.
What in the fuck happened to Bonnaroo man. Jesus.
Get ready for everyone speculating as to who will be the surprise LN Which. Will Roger Waters show up? Is there going to be a James Murphy and friends set? How about Miley and Flaming Lips surprise set?
Then there will be nothing. And people will complain.

Also of note (to me at least), we might not see the Solar Stage schedule until we have the printed versions again - no guessing at this point who the surprise set might be based on its gaps.

Radiohead
"They wiped their presence off the internet. So obviously they wouldn't show up on the schedule because they removed it. But they will play....just wait!"
