Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Thursday is alright. There's no act I'd be particularly excited for, unlike most years, but there would be enough to keep me entertained.
Friday looks nice, minus a lull in that 7:45-9:45 timeframe. Dungen > Daughter > Shamir > Chvrches > uhhh... beer lounge? > LCD > Tame Impala / Blood Orange would be a solid day.
Saturday is just shitriffic. Pearl Jam & Big Grams will be fun, but the rest of it feels like they decided to sandwich all the meh in the middle of the weekend, and prayed you'd still leave with a good first and last impression.
Sunday is pretty decent compared to most years, at least on the What & Which. If they're going to throw a bone to the dad rock / jam fans, there are far worse choices than the Dead.
As far as set times... Jeebus. when did Bonnaroo become Lolla? it sucks seeing pretty much everyone except headliners getting an hour, hour fifteen. At the risk of sounding too "get off my lawn"-y, one of the key selling points when I first started going was that 1.5-2hrs was standard for a daytime show, so most acts could do their full set. What makes this suck even more is that if they hadn't cut about 2-3 hours off the start of the day, plus another hour or so from the end of late nights, they could bump up a few of the more prominent acts' set lengths.
Seems like all the cafe acts I was interested in conflict with other stuff which is too bad. Would've liked to see Hinds, Amanda Shires, Sun Club, and Sunflower Bean in particular. But not more than Bully, Kamasi, Charles Bradley, or FJM
And why do they keep making Sunday's the most boring day possible each year? "Oh hey, lets just throw all the boring Americana/Alt-Country on Sunday so people are really depressed before they leave"
I remember back in 2013 when I saw Action Bronson, Kendrick Lamar, and ASAP Rocky all on the last day....

Even last year they had Shabazz Palaces, Freddie Gibbs & Madlib, and Caribou. There's stuff I want to see Sunday, but it could definitely use some more variation
Just noticed there's 45 minutes between most of the bands on Thursday....and entire hour between Bully and Twin Peaks....the sound at these stages better be good with all that in between time.

The skeptic in me wants to ask does Bonnaroo schedule LCD for 90mins and Pearl Jam for 2 hours even though they probably expect both to go over, so that everyone can rave about how headliners can go over their set times

Pearl Jam will most likely go over. Definitely one of those "They played an hour past their scheduled time!" type of things, I'm thinking.
Saturday is absolute garbage. The Two Door Cinema Club/Band of Horses conflict kills me. Two of my very few must see acts against each other. With any luck my girlfriend will be okay with seein' Ellie Goulding by herself so I can check out Claypool/Lennon. And the Super Jam/Big Grams conflict also bothers me.
And Sunday with Steep Canyon Rangers/Father John Misty/Lettuce/Deatch Cab For Cutie is garbage. Great job, 'Roo. You finally managed to scehedule the handful of bands I wanted to see against each other (first really achieved with the 2013 Saturday LN with Super Jam/"Weird Al" Yankovic/Billy Joel).

"PEARL JAM WENT ON THREE HOURS LONG, I WAS DOING THE GLOW IN THE DARK SHOW AND THE MOTHAFUCKIN DAYLIGHT WAS COMING ON THEY SAID I WAS RUNNING LATE!"
Happy with this overall. Would be hard to have TOO many conflicts when there aren't that many acts I'm dying to see to begin with... But my feelings are pretty similar to most of what's already been said, friday is stacked saturday is soft etc. Disappointed that leon bridges is so late on friday, I plan on waiting in the LCD pit line and can't make up my mind on whether or not I'll have to get there before J. Cole starts in order to guarantee myself a spot. Glad to see Lennon/Claypool in the Atomic Bomb that tent slot from last year. LCD ---> Tame Impala stampede should be an exhilarating experience (praying that the bass from chainsmokers and zeds dead doesn't bleed into which too badly but I'm thinking it may be inevitable). So much camp drinking time on saturday threatens to make late night a sleepy experience. Charles Bradley, Kurt Vile, Lettuce, Ween, and the dead should make for an enjoyable and nicely paced sunday. Most anticipated act: thom yorke acoustic set in the grove
Does going up the left side work at the Which Stage? I can't leave LCD until they play "All My Friends" and thirty minutes is just enough time to maybe get a decent spot for Tame Impala....maybe

You'll get a spot, but the sound is shitty over there. Just remember the speakers face forward and don't drift too far to the side, no matter how close you can get.
Does anyone else feel like they need to switch up the Christmas barn and silent disco DJs? I feel like we get the same thing every year in those places.

It would be really nice if they took 1 of these in a different direction. Hopefully Lane 8 is a sign of things to come in the future, I'm looking forward to him in the silent disco this year.

Right? After experiencing Okeechobee's techno jungle, and seeing what Coachella does with Do Lab, I can't help but feel like Bonnaroo's rehashed themes have grown stale.
Legitimate Question: With last year being my first Roo, my only experiences with the pit @ What have been showing up 15 minutes before the Shakes and getting in, and waiting through two entire sets for a headliner set. Would it be feasible to hit up Leon Bridges' set, and then get in line for LCD during the tail end of J. Cole? Or would my chances of getting in be slim at that point?

The only thing good that could come out of this is a tad more leeway with bands going over their set time and still being able to stay on schedule
When I saw Bob Moses live in the fall, they were very solid but not amazing. Luckily I can catch them at Moog in a few weeks so I'm not concerned about missing them at Roo - but even if I wasn't seeing them elsewhere, I gotta see Tame Impala.

It's official the Cinema Tent is dead.... I quacking knew it. It's not on the site, it's not on the schedule and its was the one thing truly expendable for those quacking bathrooms. -_-
I want to avoid J. Cole as much as possible, but plan to head to the pit line for LCD Soundsystem during this middle of his set. I don't think the line will be that bad.

I'd have a fun weekend.

FRIDAY Henry Wagons > Mothers/Dungen > Andra Day > Ibeyi > Kamasi Washington > Chvrches/Lucius > Vince Staples > Leon Bridges > M83 > LCD Soundsystem > Tame Impala > Lane 8
SATURDAY Dylan LeBlanc > Anderson East > Chris Stapleton > Steve Gunn > Nathaniel Rateliff > Lennon Claypool > Pearl Jam > Miguel > Super Jam/Big Grams

Does anyone know how long LCD Soundsystem played at Coachella? All I can find is that it started at 11:10pm. I'm trying to get an idea of their setlist by comparing it to Coachella's.

They didn't announce Cinema stuff until after the initial schedule last year. It'll definitely still be there.
