This was posted today in regards to the bathrooms.
"And considering the incredibly enthusiastic fan response to this news, Bonnaroo probably could have made “Plumbing” the fourth headliner of this year’s fest, alongside Pearl Jam, Dead & Company and LCD Soundsystem."
It's like they are just teeing up a J Cole joke...
As nice as having plumbing will be I imagine those stalls/bathrooms are going to be gross by the end of Friday.
The potties at Coachella were nice all weekend, I think it's just a matter of having an adequate cleaning crew/schedule. And they'll be focused in one or two areas, should be easy enough to keep clean vs the banks of portas scattered around (I'm sure they'll still have those, but hope they'll pay more attention to keeping these clean).
But if the shower situation is any indication, you may be right...

Last year the cleaning people were able to some how keep the flushable portapotties clean, so this should be a piece of cake in comparison.

Yea, but that's Coachella were everything tends to be nice/cleaned up thoroughly based on what I've heard/seen photos of. I could totally imagine BOnnaroo being a bit sloppier with all of this. Hiring volunteers who won't care. Plus, I can imagine a lot of idiots making messes/wrecking shit during late nights (which Coachella doesn't have) when they are wasted.

But don't the cleaning people for the flushable porta-potties come from the company that they rent them out from? So, if that is the case, then bonnaroo will have to hire/outsource a cleaning crew for these permanent fixtures in order to maintain the cleanliness.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the bathrooms this year. I really doubt that bonnaroo is going to spend all this money on a permanent water line and building bathrooms/showers, and then have no plan to keep them clean. You would think they would want to protect their investment.

I, 100% agree that they will protect their investment and get a cleaning crew to maintain the bathrooms throughout the festival weekend. I just keep thinking of all the added expense it is adding for this year alone. Once the lines are in place and the buildings are all built, then it is just the cost of the cleaning crew which is most probably WAY cheaper than having to rent out the facilities to begin with.

I feel bad for the people on cleaning duty that work the midnight shift. Trying to scrub puke off the floor while some tripped out person walks in and begins peeing everywhere would be a nightmare. Even with the daily portajohn cleaners there are always some crimes against man going on in some stalls.
I do hope they have their stuff together and it's organized. I could just see them getting lazy with it.

Oh I totally understand, the cost the last 2 years has gone up a lot very quickly. I guess I'm more willing to spend more for better infrastructure, I'm okay with that trade. My issues with the costs are more focused on the lineup. I'm not going to be willing to keep paying these prices if the lineup continues in the direction it has been going the last 2 years.
Don't worry, guys. I'm sure the Girl Scoutmasters and other charities who usually offer hand sanitizer will all be equipped now with toilet brushes and clear instructions.

They better if they want that free ticket to see Ellie Goulding.

The only people I've ever seen puke at Bonnaroo were nowhere near a proper puke recepticle. If you gotta puke at Roo, you won't hold it til you can get to a bathroom.

SSSOOO.. from a proper analysis of the photos the two structures appear to be within Centeroo. ONe will be between Who and What. the other appears to be north of the Barn near where the ferris wheel usually hangs out.

I hope they still have those boards down for that traverse from the What stage to the tents..I'm not gonna trust that "mud" if there's a bathroom next door

Someone on the facebook posted that the map had been updated on the map. One bathroom is where the Adult Swim area used to be. One replaces the bathrooms on the walkway between the Which and the front of What. That should be fun times.
Fellas... We need to talk... The nice bathrooms are for pooping and jerking off only, ok? We can literally piss anywhere. Let's not cause an unnecessary mess in our new potties.
Edit: On second thought, jerk off in the cinema tent like a normal human.

It's a little weird that they went with individual urinals and not stadium style troughs. I mean, yay privacy and all but seems like it would waste a lot more water.

I believe at the flush toilets by Groop Camping they had a trough-type thing outside for quick business and stalls with toilets for anything else. Maybe they'd do the same? Not sure.
