That would be Pod 3. I believe the article I read said 3 permanent shower locations were being built. It appears one of them would be at Pod 3. I guess 2 at other locations.
If I recall, Bonnaroo owns the camping areas south of Bushy Branch Rd. If that is accurate, then it's safe to assume none of the upgrades would occur in the Pod 8, 9, and 10 areas.
For how much Bonnaroo has been promoting the fact that they now have some permanent showers and bathrooms, they really haven't released much in terms of pics.

These things were way more impactful for my weekend than I expected. Being able to wash my hands with soap and water multiple times a day was kind of amazing. Also, I don't think I waited in line for water more than a minute all weekend due to them adding the spigots at the bathrooms. I will be interested to see where they get added next year. I could see them putting some in at the campgrounds or a couple different spots in Centeroo. Also, for the guys, they may consider putting up some kind of signage regarding there being two lines (one standing one sitting). I repeatedly watched people in the line get displeased when someone walked past the line directly to a urinals and those in line figured out they had been standing in line for nothing.

By far my favorite thing about Roo this year (other than them selling wine...). We were camped close enough to the ferris wheel entrance that we just walked into Centeroo from camp, and used them all the time. There were rarely any lines, always clean, had toilet paper and then we could refill our waters outside. Such a wonderful addition.

Bathrooms were nice this year. There were three kinds. The new, permanent ones. The better portos from last year that flushed and had a cleaning attendant on site at almost all times. Then there were the standard portos. I used them a few times and realized they were even cleaner than normal since so fewer people were using them. Bathrooms are no longer an issue at Roo for me.
The water faucets outside were Fantastic and helped keep folks hydrated. it was good water too. Inside, the sinks made a world of difference as they allowed me to wash my hands very easily. In addition, that cold water was great for regular face washes and getting the hair wet to cool down. Wow that was refreshing. and while not having AC, it was Never hot inside them. what a wonderful addition! we do need a #1 and #2 line for the boys side. would eliminate alot of headache. there were plenty of unrinals.
BUT< there was a lack of portos between Food trucks and This as well as This and the comedy tent. there were regularly LONG LONG lines in this part of the farm. Also, the extremely crowded area between which and what due to the women's line was pretty tough to navigate at time.

How was the wine? We kept talking about trying it, but never pulled the trigger and just stuck to beer.

It was basic white wine, nothing special, but it was cold and made me very happy! $9 for one, or $33 for a pack of 4. It seems a lot, but it is normal event pricing.
the line in centeroo to use the permanent bathrooms was always too long so I never got to try them out. I'm not even mad though bc the flushable portos were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only used one traditional bonnaroo porto all weekend

Dave Maynar - how were the bathrooms outside of Groop? Were they the same upgraded flush toilets as last year? Or were they also improved? Those were a huge improvement last year.

It was the same ones as last year. They didn't seem to be quite as kept up as last year though. The lady's friend saw horrible things in there Sunday night.
Two highlights from those: 1) For whatever reason, the wall that separates the two sides of the urinal wall wasn't installed in the last bay. It left you with the potential to be peeing facing another guy with your faces two feet apart. Unfortunately, I never got to experience that. 2) One of the door locks on the stalls on the men's side got broken off the door. This caused the door to stay open with no real way to shut it. For the most part, this just meant that the men's side was one stall down. That is except for one time I went in there in the afternoon and a guy was dropping one with the door wide open. I guess he couldn't be bothered to wait in the line. P.S. the guy was not Kev-Bot surprisingly.
I did use the new bathrooms a couple times, but they also meant that the portos almost never had a line. And I'm impatient and don't mind portos so this worked out pretty well for me.

I thought the permanent bathrooms really worked out as well as they could this year. I'm very curious to see how many more they add, they definitely should put one in the comedy/cinema/this tent area. The 2 groups of portos behind This Tent had less portos than in years past, and always appeared to have huge lines when I looked over there.

When I first heard about the permanent bathrooms I thought "No way, this is gonna be such a bad idea." But in reality, they were absolutely wonderful! I don't think I saw a "out of order" sign on one of the stalls until Saturday and only ran into one pretty nasty situation on Sunday. Definitely devalues my VIP ticket a bit. Honestly, most of the VIP bathrooms that I visited were nastier than the permanents.

The new bathrooms were a godsend. I never had a problem with the lines. Once, there was maybe 25 girls waiting in the walkway, but the wait goes by super fast as there were a TON of stalls. Although most of the time, I could just stroll in and there were a few open stalls. The sinks were awesome, and the dryers were awesome, and the mirrors were awesome, although I could've gone without knowing what I looked like during Roo. That was a real bummer.

I never had a problem with lines for the new restrooms. I only tried to enter around 2 pm or sunrise on my way to camp. The abundance of water spigots was key. I could come into Centeroo, use the restroom, and fill my water bottle in under 5 minutes normally.

Anybody have pictures of the new showers? I realize how creepy it is to take a picture of a bathroom or showers, but just want to see what the new stuff looks like! Especially the showers

They were really nice. I saw someone post a pic on the Inforoo Facebook page after someone called them prison showers. They were painted white, had open roofs, a change room with locking door and a bench plus two hangers for towels or clean clothes. They were clean too.

Sure, pervert.
I still haven't seen these newfangled flushable porto type deals from last year, either! Really missing out on the potty upgrades.
