This is a pretty dope line-up. I doubt that other fest will get anything as good as D'Angelo, David Byrne, The Roots, Nile Rodgers (Not a Chic set so maybe a career overview?), Wu Tang, Deerhoof...

Yup! Ticketmaster has both single days and two days going on sale Friday. I think I am def grabbing at least a Sunday ticket too. Byrne, Rodgers, and Wu is too good to pass up.

So John Mayer, D'Angelo and The Roots are all going to be playing as a supergroup, and will be playing all three of the artists music together. Holy shit.

Waiting for The Meadows lineup before comitting to one or the other. Def have my eye on Sunday for this. Hopefully I can split the weekend and do one day at one and one day at the other.

It's listed on the Roots Picnic site -- all the usual: viewing area, bathrooms, bars, lounge, expedited entry. Not even sure if it will be worth it, but with the clusterfuck potential and the fact that D'Angelo and Wu are two of my all-time favorites (not to mention Nile Rodgers and David Byrne!) I'm gonna take the plunge. If I can, that is.
Ticketmaster lists both GA and VIP two-day passes at $175, which I'm sure is an error because there were never any two-day VIP passes available. VIP single days are available for $250, and I'm wondering if that's the only way they'll be sold.

This is hopefully my plan as well although I am not sure how I can pull it off if we do because my girlfriend is a big Mayer lover and we would most likely just end up doing this.

That makes sense too! Either way, pissed I put off buying my tickets because they are now all increased without warning. Just picked up a pass on StubHub for less than TM is charging.

I was looking at that. StubHub prices are significantly less than the TM pricing still. I am keeping an eye on this if I can get to the cit ythat weekend.
