I hate the Pavilion, but would totally pay $20 for King Crimson there, just to have seen them.
Curious about why you hate the pavilion...?? i think it's the best larger venue in the city. I would certainly rather go there than Agganis (the worstttt) and probably would rather go there than the Wang, depending on the show. Not sure there's anything else really comparable. i guess i'd rather someone do 2 nights at HOB than 1 at the Pavilion, but that's usually not how it works. (Unless you really just hate the logistics around it like LD pointed out, but that's not really about the venue itself.)

I don't like the fact that it's 100% assigned seating and that there's no flexibility for a GA pit up front.
Agganis sucks too, agreed. It's unfortunate that Boston just doesn't have good larger venues in the 5-10k capacity range.

im so annoyed because thats the night i have an lcd ticket for but im gonna trade it. hotelier is my fav band by far and they hardly play shows anymore
