also its gonna be really neat to see them use the stage extension feature of roadrunner. its able to extend forward in cases of low ticket sales for a more intimate show
So much fun. Might try to go again on Wednesday. That venue is huge. Definitely feels similar to Brooklyn Steel. The floor looks like you could get lost really easily, it's just so big. Kinda wish it was split up a little somehow.

To whom it may concern, I visited Roadrunner last night and I must say is insanely dangerous to have bottled water priced at $6 and not allow your staff to give cups of water. Multiple people were collapsing at the LCD Soundsystem show last night. Seems incredibly greedy and money grubbing from a bowery venue, which I always have high expectations for that are often exceeded. Really thought you guys were better than this. Also, something definitely needs to be done regarding cell service in the building, even the addition of guest wifi would be welcome. Otherwise an awesome venue but these two issues really need to be fixed. Best,

Thank you for the feedback. In terms of cell service - we are working with our landlords in the building now for a few weeks to improve the service within the building.

Yeah, that lack of cell service was rough. I think only one carrier had any sort of signal there. I had to go over by the windows on the mezz to look up the score of the UConn game. Ran into a girl I knew from RI though, also trying to get a signal.
The water thing is also bullshit, but if there's money to be made. The prices there are straight up ripoff territory, even for venue standards.

wait does Roadrunner seriously not have any free water?! i was there Sunday but only drank beer, haha. even livenation venues have free water, and they're the most scumbag money-hungry places on earth

they started handing out bottles in the lcd pit but that was also after someone in the crowd fainted, otherwise yes a bottle is $6

packaged water always costs money. like livenation venues have an exclusive contract with Liquid Death canned water, but they still have like gatorade coolers of water with a stack of cups sitting at the end of the bar for free. i'd be shocked if Roadrunner didn't too, but it sounds like they don't
