fun game... according to my obsessive-compulsive concert spreadsheet, my top 10 venues are:
81 House of Blues shows (not counting Avalon shows back in the day) 47 The Sinclair 44 Royale 38 Lupos (Providence) 31 TD Garden 29 Paradise 22 Leader Bank Pavilion (inclusive of all prior names) 21 City Hall Plaza (each day of a festival like Boston Calling pre-Harvard counts as 1) 13 Xfinity Center (Mansfield, inclusive of prior names) 11 Agganis Arena

Billy Woods at Crystal Ballroom on October 8th. Highly recommend his new album, Aethiopes, if you’re a fan of Earl Sweatshirt or abstract hip hop in general
tbh glad its the same night as Fred again.. bc i really dont need to buy a ticket to this given im seeing em twice at primavera lmao. gotta hone in and start saving for grad school

ha, yeah i have tickets to Fred Again already. i've never seen gorillaz and i kinda want to cross them off the list, but i'm a fairly casual fan and really don't want to drop $150+ on just them, would rather catch a festival some point down the road
Me: I've seen The Menzingers 3 times in the last 9 months, I'm probably good for a while Also me: Oh shit are they gonna do an Impossible Past anniversary tour?!
Tomorrow night I'm seeing Low Cut Connie down in Fall River.
TIL about the venue...
Attendees are welcome to bring their own food, beverages, and alcohol to all events in bags and small coolers that will fit under your chair.
oh wow. i have heard that the Narrows is a real cool place to catch a show but never been. curious to see what you think. really jealous about LCC. if it was a weekend i'd probably make the trek down from Boston but can't swing it on a worknight
wow, very surprised at how good Freddie Gibbs was tonight. gonna sell my ticket for tomorrow to rest and bc of the same setlist every night but he really was great, rapped every word despite being trashed
Kendrick at the garden is $239+fees for loge seats, balcony $119+fees. guess i'm holding out hope for seats under face value day-of-show because f that
