Second noght of Flume added 10/3. same openers. I’m really torn because Flume is one of my favorite artists but its the same night as the Sunny Day Real Estate reunion which ive also been dying to see. Will probably stick with SDRE but if reception for their shows isnt great i might sell and double up on Flume
not to turn this thread into an echo chamber by being the only one posting but this venue looks really nice. shame its livenation but i’m excited to at least have a GA option the same size as the Pavillion in town

i'm going to MGM tonight for Chris Stapleton. totally agree that the video/pics so far have looked really promising. i'm hopeful that the sound system ends up being just as impressive. i'll report back in the morning.
MGM was really nice. Seemed pretty easy to navigate. Obviously very clean (for now). The balcony overhang over the floor definitely impacts the audio. Under the overhang doesnt sound nearly as good as getting a little closer to the stage and out from under it. It also felt like the floor was super oversold last night so it was tough to find a way to get out from under it (partially because i showed up a little late). Probably not actually oversold, it's just the capacity includes all the space under the balcony which just doesnt sound great (or look great depending on how far back you are). Not sure how seated floor shows might sound/act differently. So get there early if you have GA floor, it'll be worth it.
boiler room was moved to big night live, think im gonna skip out on this now so if anyone wants my ticket lmk. such a shame they had to move it to a corporate venue instead of another private outdoor venue

roadrunner doubled the event parking price to $20. shit sucks. Injury Reserve was amazing tonight despite being an opening set. Was too tired to stay for IDLES and want to conserve my energy for my Lil Nas X, Stevie Nicks, La Dispute run but I hope to catch them at a festival at some point.
Kendall Street Company is a jam band from my neck of the woods (based out of Charlottesville, VA) and they’re coming up to New England for a few dates! Last second but I figured I’d promote because they put on a fantastic show. Dates are: 9/19 NYC @ Cafe Wha? 9/21 Burlington VT @ Nectar’s Lounge 9/22 Portland ME @ Portland House of Music 9/23 Pembroke MA @ Soundcheck Studios 9/24 Brattleboro VT @ The Stone Church
Their Live at Relix Studio on Spotify or any of their sets on Nuggz are the best way to get a feel for their sound. They’re also keen to whip out some great covers, including but not limited to You Oughta Know. Check ‘em out!
Wow Stevie Nicks was transcendent. she has to be a witch i swear to god, no idea how else the thunder and lightning never actually hit despite 100% chance of heavy thunderstorms
it's been a while since i've been fuming mad about ticketmaster, but damn this 'dynamic pricing' nonsense has really really gotten under my skin the last month, first with Springsteen and again today with Blink 182. it's such a transparent scam, they aren't even pretending to hide it anymore... and while i've become numb to ticketmaster being the worst company ever, they somehow found a new way to make me absolutely enraged. where does it stop? i'm ready to fight someone
