4th line maybe? That's where Ludacris was last year and I'd say they're similar in billing, Luda probably edging higher in terms of "stock value". That's also depending on how big other names are on the bill.

Wherever he is billed I'm sure it will be too high. His last album came out 4 years ago, and it's not like he has the popularity or critical acclaim Ludacris has. He's basically a nostalgia act.
I feel like the booking is unique, but I don't plan on seeing him. Live rap is rarely my thing.
Unique but probably more money that it's worth. If you could use the money paid to him for another in the same budget I'm sure most would choose the latter.

Yeah I agree. I wonder how accurate these figures are now.

He has shows on June 16th (Newark) and June 17th (Mountain Jam), as well as a Philly show on July 1st. RCHP it is.
Don't think it rules him out unless he is the one to do it. Paul McCartney and Florence both played Philly the same weekend they headlined Firefly. McCartney played 2 shows in Philly I think.

1) Those shows were announced after Firefly's lineup was revealed 2) I highly doubt Tom Petty is going to play 3 consecutive nights in different locations

I still think the (likely) third headliner is someone we either haven't mentioned or have only briefly considered. Hell, would it really be that shocking for it to be another 4 act top line like Muse - 21P - Skrillex - Chance the Rapper?

Sigur Ros has shows 6/15-6/17, with the last one at Forest Hills NY. So, unless they're playing Sunday at Firefly with what would be their 4th show in 4 days, they're probably out for this.
Sigur Ros at Merriweather on 5/26/17, present by Goldenvoice. But they're in Philly on the Thursday and Friday of Firefly, and then NYC on Saturday. I guess they could play Sunday...?

I guess it's possible but driving up to NY then back down to Dover for their fourth show in a row? Granted it's only a 3 or so hour drive but seems dicey at best.

They play 4 nights in a row on other spots in their tour. Seems pretty plausible.
Closing Firefly on Sunday night would be pretty cool though
Closing out the backyard stage (or lawn) pre-headliner on Sunday. That would be the most likely spot I would think. That would be a blast. EW&F last year in that spot was fun.

i dont think they're popular enough with the FF crowd to play the main Pre HL. I would put them in the 1975 slot from last year.

Well that' what the schedule was lol. It was EW&F at the backyard, the 1975 on the lawn, and Griffyn at the pavilion right before Mumford.
