For every Bassnectar fan you meet like the ones depicted in that video you'll meet 5 respectful, compassionate, inclusive, music lovers. His fanbase has grown a lot over the last 5 years but the general ethos is still the same. "Love one another like sister and brother"

I've never seen anything like this. It's so confusing because it seems like there's room for everyone to fit on the rail? But if you're second or third row instead of on the rail it's not a big deal.
Cut Copy is playing a festival in Utah the weekend after Firefly. It's too bad this festival would never book an act like that.
They had Disclosure and Rufus last year and Jungle the one before that. I don't see why not.
Fair point. I just have a feeling Cut Copy has fallen off the radar for most of the larger U.S. festivals given the poor chart performance of their last record (much like Hot Chip). I imagine their crowd would be pretty small at a festival like Firefly.

Both Hot Chip and Cut Copy played Lolla on their last album cycles. Definitely not out of the question. Cut Copy is a little dated but very on brand for this fest (Hot Chip less so)
