I wonder what it's like to be so far up a terrible festivals ass that you personally enjoy watching another terrible festival get released. Seems like projection to me.
Whats cool about festivals is seeing small acts like that grow in popularity and move their way up.
I completely disagree. I mean I'm definitely a bit spoiled by living in NYC, but I can see small acts who will grow in popularity for really cheap just about any night of the week. What I can't see are more unique or expensive artists. That's why Kesha is the best thing on this lineup.

lol awww dont be mad were all friends here.
Im not mad. I don't have any allegiance to any festival. I just found it weird you would come over here and laugh at us when your main festival is hangout. Personally I still like this better - you're free to disagree though.

She just toured
I take that back, then. I thought she wasn't doing much performing these days.
I already have a ticket for Bonnaroo and I was deciding between this and a day pass for Panorama, going with Panorama BUT...is this lineup really that bad? You guys are overreacting quite a bit...
1) The Weeknd is a #1 now, get over it. He's arguably the biggest pop star in North America/Europe right now.
2) Twenty One Pilots being booked as a headliner in unforgivable, if only for the fact that they've been, and still are, playing the exact same live show for the past 3 years.
3) Muse is a nice little get, and without a new album to push it'll probably be a unique set list with some deeper tracks.
4) Bob Dylan is hot garbage now. I've seen him 3 times (Americanarama w/MMJ, Desert Trip, and w/Willie Nelson). All 3 shows were terrible, his band is right but you literally can't recognize any of the songs due to the change in singing style he's adopted, it's bizarre.
...After that, it gets tough but there's some decent acts: Weezer - Solid booking, their summer tour last year was great and they always deliver live. 30 Seconds to Mars - Saw them at Voodoo a couple years ago and Jared Leto had a FANTASTIC live voice. The Shins - Solid! Miike Snow - Looks to be one of their only shows of 2017 so far. Kesha - If you can't have fun at this set get over yourself. Franz Ferdinand - Not bad at all.
...the problem is, after Rainbow Kitten Surprise the lineup just tanks, I've never heard of any of these acts. I feel like my day wouldn't start until 5pm everyday. Overall, I'm glad with my decision to keep Roo as my camping fest and Pano as my add-on this year.

my gf went to music midtown and said she was awful there. I wasn't there to judge it so take it as you want.
She doesn't do her old material as it sounds on record. She has a bluesy-rock band backing her now so the songs sound much different. She was also playing Waylon Jennings, Iggy Pop, and Dolly Parton covers on her most recent tour.
Firefly: we went top heavy on the lineup, so enjoy all these local bands and unknown DJs before 5 pm every day.
Hasn't that been the case every year? And then massive conflicts each evening?
The first two years were pretty solid, but it's gone downhill since they expanded to 4 days in 2014. I thought last year was an improvement over 2015 (at least in terms of the undercard), but this is just a steaming pile of shit.
i dont think tehre is an act on here i have seen more than once. I am interested in:
Muse, Chance, Dylan, 30 Secs To Mars, Weezer, Shins, Phantogram, Miike Snow, Franz, Busta, T Pain, Dicky, Wale, Nahko, Cap Cities, Bob Moses, Rainbow Kitty, Foriegn Air, Andy Frasco (funnest show i went to in 2016), Social Animals, Lawrence, Sir The Baptist and of course Jazzy Jeff but its hilarious to see him on a lineup and this high when i saw him 2-3 years ago DJ the grand opening for a skating rink in Philly.
will depend on how the schedule turns out in the end
