The lost of Bonnaroo performers who have pissed on had gotten kind of long. I guess that is what happens when you're around for fifteen years and feature a lot of older, established artists.

Yeah man huge bummer. Guy was a straight up original and legend. There is a great short documentary about him I watched a few years back, did a good job of highlighting what made him great but also what was broken about him.
I wasn't at the set but Bucket of Bernie Brains is one of my top Roo shows of all time.
Many years ago I found myself watching an HBO documentary about the Lady Vols Women's Basketball team. I'm neither a fan of Tennessee nor basketball but I left it completely impressed with Pat Summitt.
(I just found it on YouTube so I'll see if it holds up.)

RIP, Coach Summitt.
I think the biggest testament to her as a person and coach is she had a 100% graduation rate (of players who stayed or all their eligibility) for 38 years. She was an incredible mentor to all the female student athletes on campus and a hero to women's athletics nationwide. When I first got to campus, I could walk into a men's bball game at tip off, no ticket needed. To go to a womens game you had to line up at the UC for ticket distribution days before.

Rudy Van Gelder dead at 91.
For those who don't know him, dude was a prolific jazz producer/record engineer. He recorded A Love Supreme, and with pretty much every other jazz musician you've heard of. Rest in peace to a legend.
