Last summer I went and stayed with my friend in Austin for the weekend. We did a movie night. We watched Knives Out, a mutual choice that neither of us had seen, and Annihilation, my choice, which she hadn't seen. But first we watched her choice, which I hadn't seen, which was Exit Wounds.
Sorry to see an OG pass. I always hoped to see him live. I saw they released that new song with Steve Howe, Ian Paice and Bootsy Collins parts. I only listened to it once so I couldn’t tell what was sampled and spliced and what was played. Those are all superstar music heroes for me, and I am grateful to have been able to see all them. Would have been great to have seen DMX.
2024: The Floozies, Phyphr, Disco Biscuits, Cimafunk, WSMFP, The Killers, Cory Wong, Dumpstaphunk, Bomba Estereo, Molly & Golden Hwy, Big Freedia, Payton/Nth Power, A.P&TFN, Mule

it's weird that he was basically pushed by the industry into the Pac hole and I just think that sort of pressure broke him

In college I bought a home theater for $60 from some guy on Facebook; when I set it up I realized the 5 disc changer was full. Called the dude back and returned his copies of saving private ryan and the matrix, but asked if I could keep DMX's greatest hits. I no longer have the stereo (or any CD player for that matter), but still have the DMX CD
