I think this is the exception to the "INSPECTOR LIVES THROUGH THE NIGHT SO HAVE TO KILL HIM" Boner rule. This is a second inspector.
If anyone in the town sat here and thought Carini wasn't mafia with how quiet he has been, well, I wasn't thinking that way with you. I think Carini is mafia and its not hard to imagine Mafia Viking putting the clamps on Carini's posting. Some more investigation needs to occur but I'm leaning toward believing ZIG.
Also, talking about the whack - it seems like a Viking mafia whack to kill KDogg to point directly at ZIG. KDogg couldn't convince the town yesterday to do a dueling inspector runoff, but now mafia wants us to believe that ZIG was so worried about being the Day 3 lynch that he had to shut KDogg up. I don't buy it. Clear frame job to me.

I took an aggressive approach after my reveal because I knew it would be a challenging road going forward. From my view, I had some crafty Mafia and challenging townies to navigate. It felt like me against everyone else so I stood my ground.
But I also don't find carini's response satisfactory, in terms of thinking of him as town.
Sorry the long winded multi quoting posts aren't my style. Based on kdogg's whack I believe Viking was the real inspector. Had Zig cleated you or DanBob for example I would still be torn over which claim to believe plus the fact he wasn't whacked
For now I think we should stick to the plan of getting both inspectors out to be 100% sure we have another day. Personally I have little to no reason to doubt Zig and will not simply hold the fact he wasn't whacked against him, especially considering both inspectors have now lived through a night since coming out. If we decide not him, SFA is the person I feel most comfortable voting off.
My initial thoughts on the kdogg whack was his change to leading us to vote out both inspectors and starting to seriously doubt Vikings claim later in the last round. Obviously we need to go back and try and figure out why him though over anyone else.
One other point I would like to bring up to be discussed - potent and myself are the two confirmed townies (myself from Viking's false claim and potent from Zig's overnight guess). Considering that the mafia has let both inspectors live through the night to create doubt/confusion, I am not totally surprised they have also let confirmed town live. Regardless, this should still raise some questions as to why.
For now I am sticking to the plan from last round, but that may change after I have some time to dig through the kdogg whack.

JR I would like to go ahead and request this round be extended to sometime tomorrow evening, say 8pm central, not noon as currently scheduled. I have about half an hour right now, then will not be able to check in or anything until tomorrow morning. I may have the free time at work tomorrow, I may not, but I would like to know I at least have a couple hours after work before the round closes.
In my eyes the confirmed townies are potent, rummy, and myself.
Agreed. And I think I believe ZIG a little more than Rummy and a lot more than you. The three of us need to pick someone to trust. And someone to eliminate. Which is why I think I want to go like this:

The one thing that I find helpful, is that under Viking's theory, he accused Mike D and myself as Mafia. I know this is wrong, but if they kill either one of us in any of the upcoming nights, they would tip their hand and confirm that I am indeed the inspector. This would prove problematic going into Day 5 since only 3 players would be remaining. They would not want a Day 5 with Mike D, myself and Carini, because Carini would get killed and town would win.
Their only chance is for me to die during the day, and bring Mike D, Carini, and 1 townie (I would assume Dambob, but could be either Rummy or Potent) and hope that 1 townie sides with Carini.
I have provided all the information that I have in order for the town to win, but I'm willing to answer any questions the town has for me.

Zig I forget if you mentioned it already but what was your reasoning for guessing potent night 1?

Basically, going into night 1, I was down to 3 players that I couldn't conclusively say we're town. Potent Carini Danbob
I basically decided against guessing you because I felt like your behavior could probably be explained by this being your first game. It usually takes a few games to get a feel for people so i still wanted to watch your play going forward since there's no history to compare it to.
That left me Potent or Carini. Honestly, I went back and forth on how to approach the guess and it was basically a coin toss because neither of them had real red flags. I chose Potent because he is an experienced player and was ultimately contributing to the game compared to Carini. So I figured regardless of his role, knowing Potent's role would be a bigger benefit to me and the town.
