Thanksgiving pretty much limits us to a Monday-Tuesday week, since Thanksgiving Eve is the busiest travel day of the year. And I imagine Christmas would require at least a four-day weekend (off Festivus & resuming on 27th?) if that's what best accommodates all. Holidays are always a pain in the ass to game around.

I'll be on the road home either Monday or Tuesday, 28th/29th, after Thanksgiving so I won't be logging on until the 29th or 30th.
I will begin play on the 29th then, absent any other requests. Simply a waiting game until then. I already set roles, but will randomize again if the lineup changes.
For disclosure, here's how I handle randomizing roles. 1. Go to random.org's sequence generator, set it up to randomly sequence numbers 1-11. Numbers are correlated with player order in the roll call. 2. Assign roles to places in the random sequence before generating it. I opt to make the first three numbers Mafia and the final number Inspector (with the very first in sequence being the Inspector's given name.)
So I already know who's who, absent any lineup changes, and saved it in a notecard. You'll find out for yourselves in about ten days, when it's game on.
Update to say that I might be in one of those "one foot in both old & new residence" situations on the date the game begins, and all that entails. FYI.
Can't wait to finally see a new game going! Really wanted to ref one, but life got busy... Having surgery on 12/7 but I'll be stalking the thread on the couch!

We moved into this place December 2013, and milady & I have been debating our exact lease terms. She thinks we've got a hard deadline to be out on 12/1; I think we did a separate arrangement for December 2013 and started an official annual lease for 2014.
Honestly can't remember. This company is on its third property manager in as many years, and relocated the current one to their Madison HQ an hour away, so finding a printout copy of our lease is a pain. I'm sure ours is somewhere amid all this rubble. I've paid rent a month ahead, precisely to have the cushion needed for this move and/or to afford telling one job to fuck off & have time to find the next, for good reason.
All the small shit is/was moving through the remainder of the week. Dad's snagging a work van for the big stuff Monday night - probably getting beds in & stashing the rest in the new garage Monday night to make best use of van time. I'll have laptop WiFi access through the end of the month at the old place, after that is anyone's guess.

Civility: The words "sorry" and any form of "apology" are not welcome if we are to Make Mafia Great Again. 3. Dissent: While I'd like to build a wall between ZIG & this game and make him pay for it, I'm not going to ban him from the thread. If players choose to address him, use of colorful language including (but not limited to) "deplorable," "cuck," "loser," etc. must be included in the post. He has insinuated that he's going to disrupt the proceedings - and some people are saying that George Soros is paying him to do so. 4. Some form of voter suppression will be necessary to enforce the above rules. Most likely - slip once, be warned; slip again, no vote for you that round. So make sure to disregard your P's and Q's as you call each other Crooked. 5. Rosie O'Donnell: Fat pig. Total loser.
