Thanks Tex. Not begging for spoilers but did you happen to hear any of the acts and if so, were they exciting?
I'm no insider just going on what I've heard. I'll be just as excited and surprised as you. Should be a good lineup though and I'll be there. I had a blast last year.
Middle kid's GF wants to go and get this for her xmas present. So that's 6 of us heading over and possibly 7 (and I know a few more going back who went last year). Next I gotta work on an Air B&B and all will be well.

Just an FYI, here's the hotel I booked for the festival. Walking distance to the festival site, cheap ($233 for 3 nights), great ratings, and no deposit required w/ free cancellation.
I think around $185 and then someone said Groupon had them for $125 or something like that where people who paid the actual cost were p.o.'d (per reddit). Mine were like $125 each including fees ($105 per ticket and then $18.77 fees and taxes) on the 2016 blind presale which was a steal because they said they'd upped the game on what was already a lineup in 2015 worth at least that much to me.
So they should be < 200. However, cmack got that Friday presale thing that actually was around $185. That's some meet and greet and early look at everything and possibly some sets, idk. We're going Saturday/Sunday and might show up in Houston Friday night and do something in town.
Edit from an article last year:
A blind presale has already started at dayfornight.io; prices are $135 for a general-admission two-day pass or $350 for VIP, which includes access to a front-of-stage pit area with a private bar; complimentary food and drink; a commemorative lanyard and more good stuff.
