Not too surprising, but it looks like Arkells will be there. My first time seeing them was at Osh 2012. They're always super fun!
I see a lot of the Oshega Presents concerts on Facebook. Does this mean they will be at the fest? How often is this true? They have RTJ ten days after Arkells/Frank Turner. Some RTJ and Frank Turner would be a good start for me.

I think that's a pretty cool way of doing it! Share one big tour, but split the headlining duties. Arkells are much bigger than Frank around here, so it makes a lot of sense.

Oh yeah I totally understand why they're doing it, and like mrpotatotrooper said above, it's a cool idea for a tour. I just thought it was interesting that the differences in their popularities between the US and Canada was enough for that to be the case.

Only time I went was in 2012. Side by side stages in front of a hill, an edm stage in the woods, then a tiny stage and a stage in a clearing across a terrible bridge set up. That looks nothing like what I remember

Probably won't come back until the renovations are complete but that will give me more time to miss montreal. The worst part of that festival was the congestion though so hopefully they clear things up on that front.

Where did you see lineup on Thursday?
Under the recap video it says "see you Thursday" So we should get clues or something at least. They usually do clues, posters, games...

That's because it's in a whole different venue - the island next to the parc, because they are creating an amphitheater where the main stages were in the parc which will be under construction for the next two years.

Agreed, the area with the two adjacent main stages was never "chill" at any point in time.

Here's the 2016 vs. 2017 layouts. 2016 looks much more spread out, but I can't remember how zoomed in I was when I made the 2017 one by comparison, so that could be throwing it off. Also, inconsistent stage sizes in the 2017 mock up. Sue me.
