Yeah, I'm seeing some nice adds the deeper I look (Nico Jaar, Swet Shop Boys, Phantogram). Man, did they shit the bed with that top line though... if there was even 1 headliner I was jazzed about this would be much easier.
When does the lolla lineup even come out, usually?
end of march
Buh. Just remembered their on sale is the day before too, right?
Eff that; with ATCQ doing P4K, even if Lolla snags all the other headliners I wanted, I doubt they'll put together a better undercard.
This will be a tough call for me. The undercard is nice but for the most part just feels more stacked than special. Most of the best artists are at a couple other feats and/or touring between now and the fall.
I'll be waiting to see what Voodoo and Landmark put out before I start looking into this more seriously. I'm really just waiting for Grizzly Bear to show up on a lineup.

Random question, does anyone know the likelihood of Liam being at Lolla? All he has are random fest dates out of the US but with one of them being Osheaga and another being Lolla Berlin I'm thinkin there's a decent shot.
The Osheaga Facebook account claims that the Osheaga crowd will be the first to see him live in North America. I'd take that to mean there's more dates to come for him but you're down to either Saturday or Sunday at best for Lolla.
Why not bail on Chicago and come up to Montreal? It is a much better time, and with the exchange rate much cheaper than Lolla.
He lives in Chicago, how will travelling to Montreal be cheaper?
Didnt realize he lived in Chicago..
But a Lolla ticket is about $400 right?.. Osheaga is about $250. $60 for a round trip train ticket. Lets say another $300 for a hotel or airbnb.. So about $510 for Osheaga vs $400 for Lolla.. Might be worth the extra $110 if you really want to see Liam and have the added bonus of getting away to experience Montreal/a different festival.

I was going based off my experience with train prices from NYC to Montreal.. But you are right cant find a train that leaves from Chicago... Just looked at bus prices for Chicago to Montreal and that's $89 though. So not too much more than I thought.

What are you talking about? There is no train that goes from Chicago to Montreal. You could take multiple trains, but it would certainly cost more than $60 and take more time than it's worth.
Lolla was $335 for four days of music last year, which is about equal to $250 for 3 days of music at Osheaga.
Lastly, I would say there's a pretty decent chance Liam is at Lolla as well.

Bro, whom among us wouldn't drive 13 hours one way from Chicago to Montreal and pay hundreds of bucks to stay in a hotel room to see Liam?
If we're gonna argue Lolla vs. Osheaga, the latter is bound to have a better crowd all weekend. FWIW.
Is it really that much better? Like, Lola's nothing special, but I always assumed this one filled up with 18-20 year olds from New York overdoing it on legal booze.
