If that Muse rumor is true, then with these tour dates that void Chicago. Muse is a lock now. Also, 30STM is on two fest bills with Muse(Bunbury and Firefly). 30STM will either open for Muse, or close Lake shore before Muse begins. I think they'll close Lake Shore.
Just came to mind, is Tool out for Lolla? seems very fitting to have them back now.
I'd rather them just do their own show here. With my luck they'd be Saturday if they played which is the one day I can't go this year. I know there were rumors of Riot Fest trying to get them, maybe they come through in 2017. I'm hoping Riot can book either them or NIN (assuming neither do their own tour).
Would RTJ would be top 8 at this? I've lost track of their festival billings, but the rooms they're playing are on the cusp.
Festival billings are so out of whack now. RTJ are fantastic, byt they've yet to chart a Top 10 album, or even chart a song on the Rap charts at all. While they have tons of cred and notoriety among music snobs they've yet to make that jump and create mainstream appeal, or even name recognition.

Unless they've changed the rules, giving albums away doesn't count toward chart performance, so that probably doesn't help their chart performance. And playing 4 nights at Terminal 5 is pretty respectable "mainstream appeal" or not.
