They have a strong following in Chicago too. They had to move their show to a bigger theatre and that sold out quick too. Even some of my friends that aren't big into the festival scene and these indie acts that aren't on the radio knew of them.
Would RTJ would be top 8 at this? I've lost track of their festival billings, but the rooms they're playing are on the cusp.
Festival billings are so out of whack now. RTJ are fantastic, byt they've yet to chart a Top 10 album, or even chart a song on the Rap charts at all. While they have tons of cred and notoriety among music snobs they've yet to make that jump and create mainstream appeal, or even name recognition.
Quick - how many albums has Chance the Rapper sold?
Kanye - Muse - Arcade Fire - Twenty One Pilots Imagine Ds - Justice - Alt J - the xx
That would easily be the best top line of any US festival this year. Imagine D's takes it down a bit but that's canceled out by The XX. A respectable undercard would make that the best festival lineup of 2017!

Sadly I think we might be looking at something like this. Think about it, Kings of Leon has headlined on Samsung, so have Killers. Imagine Dragons are headlining Lolla Berlin, and have even headlined Reading before.
Muse-Arcade Fire-Imagine Dragons-Chance Lorde-Alt-J-Justice-The xx
Kanye - Muse - Arcade Fire - Twenty One Pilots Imagine Ds - Justice - Alt J - the xx
Edit: I bet Lorde is in here somewhere. Instead of 21P?
hmmm, idk about Lorde being on the same level as J. Cole, but it definitely could be the case depending on the popularity of her next album. Bon Over would be a solid act for that spot or do that and flip flop them with Imagine D's. As long Justice went up against Muse, 21P, or I.D., this would be great (especially if it were one of the latter two.)

If you won tickets to Wayhome or Roo, what would you pick?
gimme roo every day. U2, The Weeknd, Chance, Flume, The xx, Lorde, Future Islands, The Orwells, Glass Animals is much better than Frank, Flume, Solange, Schoolboy Q and The Shins.
edit*
the bads at wayhome are also much worse than the bads at roo. RHCP are the definition of "meh" but i would atleast be able to sing along to the hits. Imagine Dragons is just going to be 90 minutes of shiz.
Has Chance ever said that his one day fest last year was just a one off? I'm not sure if he had plans to keep doing it or if it was just a flash in the pan
Apparently he suffered memory loss during his breakdown. I think this was/is a much more severe situation that what we were told. He's debuting Season 5 at NYFW but there's rumors he may not appear live, or at all.
