Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Slightly better undercard from last year. I like that they went all-in on the Atlanta rap scene. A little more depth in the HL spots, but less punch. I'd go if I scored a free ticket to Sat or Sun. Can't see myself buying one. And I wouldn't show up til 3 or 4 o'clock.
Hopefully the best thing to come from this is Arcade Fire tour dates
They did a charity gig in Montreal last week, and said on stage that they have two MTL shows in the fall. Don't know if that's been mentioned around here!
Also want to state how impressed I am at Livenation constantly trying to outdo themselves for worst fest lineup of the year.
Disagree. If this was Bonnaroo's line-up, I'd be at Bonnaroo this year.
I mean if we were to take the best acts from each fest then we could have a pretty great festival. But we also are looking at Livenation's flagship festival. And there is def some stuff I absolutely love. But there's no diversity. It's literally the same stuff at every fest. This lineup is huge but if you've been to any festival the past few years I'd say you've seen a lot of it. Governors Ball did WAAAAYYYY better for diversity. Its only value is the number of acts. But it's def a snooze fest of a lineup.

I'm curious as to what makes this that much better than Bonnaroo? (mean that in a non-sarcastic way)
Arcade Fire and Muse instead of U2 and RHCP is a huge upgrade for me.
Justice and Porter Robinson and Kaskade > Flume and Major Lazer and Marshmello (DJ Snake is objectively terrible though. I kinda have to block out his name when I look at the poster.) Justice would be a must-see for me. I've never had the chance to see them.
Undercard is stronger with Ryan Adams, Spoon, Kaytranada, Mac Demarco, A-Trak, Phantogram, Sampha, Sylvan Esso, Whitney. I like Blink-182 from childhood and never saw them.
And I like a tiny amount of ignorant rap, so if I don't have anything better to do I would go to Migos or Big Sean or Rae Sremmurd.
This line-up has a bunch of trash too, no question. But I can picture having stuff to do all day every day. Whereas Bonnaroo has nothing for me to do Thursday or Saturday almost at all.

I think they're about the same. This is a typical lineup for Lolla (and Bonnaroo was a step back for Bonnaroo). There's no U2 here, but having artists actually worth seeing on Thursday is a plus. More stuff I like at Lolla, but that's just preferenc. Seems to be a wash.

Maybe it's just because my expectations were low, but I don't think this lineup is that bad. I think it's very standard Lolla. Wouldn't travel for it, but if I lived near Chicago I'd go for a lineup of this caliber every single year. Only reason I traveled for Lolla last year was because it was a unique situation where it was an opportunity to see Radiohead.
About equivalent to Roo's lineup I'd say, except in a great city.
Roo and Lolla lineups are a wash. Lolla always hurts itself cause the top 2 acts almost always conflict. At Roo you get Lorde and the Weeknd, the xx and U2, Chance and old guys with shirts off. You don't have to choose. The Lolla undercard seems better for my taste, which evens it up.
