I think LN listened to Altnation for 48 straight hours and just picked every band that came on.
It's not bad, just typical and safe. I expect ACL to look clone like to this.
Which is fine. And Voodoo will have some of the acts they'll put on both next year as well as some from last year. City fests can be great. They aren't usually that niche and have mass appeal, but there's plenty of shit to like on this one. Congratulations to Chance for earning a HL spot in his hometown. Lower on the list, great to see Gibbz there. I was wondering what he'd been doing since his last stint as Gramatik's live guitar player. G. Jones is a good DJ. $uicideboy$, while not specifically all that great, were pretty wild at Buku and could incite a riot. Also, I dug The Pretty Reckless when I saw them going in with somewhat low expectations. Now I'm going to hell. \m/
Zero issue with the lineup at all. Safe like most have said. Headliners worked out pretty much perfect for me given I could only go Thurs and Sun, plus I'll be seeing Lorde, The XX, and Chance at Roo. May need some suggestions for that undercard for Sunday though. Other than The Shins and Carseat, I don't know a lot of acts on there that are super interesting. I'd see Milky Chance, London Grammar, and Grouplove but I'd rather not tbh. Help a brotha out. Also Liam better not close The Grove during Muse.

I don't know tons of the Sunday undercard either but check out Rag N Bone Man.
2017 Shows Sam Roberts Band, Wilco, Local Natives, Ryan Adams(!), Chance the Rapper, Future Islands, Frightened Rabbit, TOOL, Field Trip Music Festival, Gary Clark Jr., Arkells w/July Talk, Gorillaz, Tom Petty, Metallica, Muse, Incubus, Lollapalooza (!!!),Kings of Leon, Deep Purple & Alice Cooper, Father John Misty, War on Drugs
Honestly my mind is just blown at the low billing of Arcade Fire. Are they that small of a draw? I honestly figured with the new album they would be number one.

The only thing I can think of is that they just don't give a shit about placement and The Killers and/or Muse do. I mean, they got Paul McCartney's manager managing them, I could only imagine he'd be able to push them into the top 3 if they wanted it.

There's a good 10-15 acts each day I'd be happy to see. Much better than Roo, imo. I have a soft spot for The Killers, so it's a nice surprise to see them on the lineup.

Meh, who cares if Chance is first? Dudes from Chicago and he's a hell of a lot better than Muse or The Killers. Arcade Fire being billed below those two is more confusing/stupid imo.
