Schedule looks all over the place with overlaps they never used to do which is fine I guess. Also wondering if Pepsi is still the Grove stage and then Tito's is the stage on the concrete on the North side by the BudLight stage? Ideally I don't want to make the trek from one end of the field to the other more than one time.

Given the way it's spaced with the Bud Lite stage Tito's has to be the bandshell.

Friday and Saturday are trash. This all coulda been so much better on paper, but the writing was on the wall with the daily breakdowns and they sealed the deal with the schedule.
I just checked StubHub. Right now sellers are losing money on 4 days, Thursday, and Sunday (after fees) and I think just breaking even on Friday. So I think the market agrees.
Why do Muse and The Killers only get an hour and fifteen minutes? I can understand The xx, Lorde, and Justice not getting longer but that doesn't make sense. And Cage The Elephant gets just as long as Muse on top of that? Looks like I won't be seeing Sylvan Esso if I want a good spot for Chance, they better have an aftershow.
Either I'm getting cooler or all these festival lineups are getting lamer.
Nah, this is definitely much worse than the Lollas of several years ago. Reference 2013 for example.
I think the real issue is that most of the top tier acts can make a lot more money doing their own tour rather than playing the festival circuit. It also gives them full control of where and when they play, their production, pricing, etc. There is definitely not a lack of massive tours but a lot of the most in demand acts are straying away from playing multiple festivals it seems.
2017 Shows Sam Roberts Band, Wilco, Local Natives, Ryan Adams(!), Chance the Rapper, Future Islands, Frightened Rabbit, TOOL, Field Trip Music Festival, Gary Clark Jr., Arkells w/July Talk, Gorillaz, Tom Petty, Metallica, Muse, Incubus, Lollapalooza (!!!),Kings of Leon, Deep Purple & Alice Cooper, Father John Misty, War on Drugs

Pretty sure they'll both play past 10.
Edit: Maybe not Muse actually since they play on Thursday.
If you look at this list of mostly noname acts and don't find some connection with a major or big indie label, I'd be surprised. It's all downhill from here, folks.

Isn't there a hard curfew at 10?
I'm pretty sure they have an agreement with the city that they can go past 10 when they so choose. Metallica (2015) & Radiohead (2016) both played until 10:30.

When I went in 2010 Green Day played till like 10:20 too.
Looks like I'm gonna be south all day Thurs and I have no problem with that! Lard Dog -> White Reaper -> Hippo Campus -> Temples -> The Drums -> Liam Gallagher -> Cage -> Muse Followed by Hans Zimmer on Friday
