The Killers strike me as a fun set you can be nostalgic to, whereas Blink 182 sounds like it would be cringeworthy to be reminded of your juvenile immature 13 year old self.
Smart Bar has two after shows announced, Justin Martin for Friday night and Orchard Lounge for Saturday night. Also they'll have Queen Sunday night, but I have a feeling no one in my group will have enough energy for that. Not sure if they had Wednesday and Thursday shows last year, but they may still this year. Orchard Lounge was really fun last year, might do that again. I was really hoping Nina Kraviz would have her make up show this weekend, oh well.
I have my fingers crossed that Metro announces some good shows and I'm actually able to get tickets. There's also SpyBar and Primary too potentially. Otherwise all I have planned is Spoon on Wednesday. Kind of regretting not getting a Sylvan Esso ticket, and I've listened to some Ryan Adams recently and started to enjoy him and I feel like that would have been a great after show too. Oh well, more money for bottles of wine at the fest I guess.
As far as The Killers vs Blink, I have a lot more history listening to Blink growing up, but don't really want to see them nowadays since it's not the original lineup. I'm sure it wouldn't be a bad time, but The Killers are closer and after Little Dragon I can go get some food, sit in the back and drink/smoke and just chill with my friends who want to hear the hits.
oops confused the dates and got the wrong festival but Mac DeMarco is doing a free afterparty on Thursday with Biz Markie and Twin Peaks DJ sets. RSVP here: culturecollide.do312.com

Saw Muse last night in Toronto and they still put on one of the best live shows around. Production was amazing and the band sounded great! Should be a wicked set at Lolla!
2017 Shows Sam Roberts Band, Wilco, Local Natives, Ryan Adams(!), Chance the Rapper, Future Islands, Frightened Rabbit, TOOL, Field Trip Music Festival, Gary Clark Jr., Arkells w/July Talk, Gorillaz, Tom Petty, Metallica, Muse, Incubus, Lollapalooza (!!!),Kings of Leon, Deep Purple & Alice Cooper, Father John Misty, War on Drugs
So do we think Chance is going to switch up his setlist at all for Chicago? My friends and I have been discussing and I think he'll just do the same exact set that he's been doing all tour. But if he had to bring out any guests or anything for a song, I'd probably cry if he did this song (Jeremih is from Chicago, maybe he can just do R Kelly's part too....)

He'll do something different. Proving how much he loves Chicago is how he gets his dick hard.
I wish I didn't have a wedding Saturday because I'd love to see The XX again, especially knowing I could get a good spot. Every person who is indifferent will see Chance and the people seeing The XX would be legit fans I would think. Oh well.

Yeah, right now I'm debating skipping Saturday outright or showing up at the end of the day for the headliners, but The xx would be my play. Between the reviews of Chance the Preachers shows and the fact that all my friends in Chicago saw his day fest last year, none of us are particularly itching to see him, no matter how special he makes the set.

Watch him just bring Kanye out to perform the 3 Kanye covers Chance already doessszZZZzzzzzZZZZzzzZZZZZzzZZ...
Was just looking at the map, did they have a Red Bull slushy bar at Perry's stage last year?
No idea. I pretend that Perry's just doesn't exist altogether. What's ur sched lookin like for Thurs? Keeping it realistic given the big layout, we're probably just gonna camp at the South field. The Drums> Liam> (no idea)> Cage> Spoon> Muse.

Pretty similar to that. Gonna try get in first thing because I'm kinda into Declan McKenna's album and I definitely want to see White Reaper. Then Liam, A Trak, Spoon, with a few Red Bull slushee and crotch vodka breaks.

I feel like they'll do what they did last year and announce chance the morning of and you'll have to go in person to buy it. At least that's what I'm hoping for. If it was going to be someone like the XX wouldn't they have announced it by now?
Also, I looked and every big club that could've realistically hosted Justice for a DJ set is booked for the weekend, although that probably would've been announced by now too if I had to guess.
