Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Fleet Foxes, Ryan Adams, lots of classic acts (like Hall & Oates and Duran Duran and Chic), Young Thug, Schoolboy Q, The xx, The Shins, Car Seat Headrest, Touché Amoré, Mastadon, Deftones, Gojira, Lorde, Chris Rock, Hiss Golden Messenger, Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$, Air, Young Fathers, BBNG, members of Wutang and their various side projects, Gallant... I am pretty sure all of these are in play. Should I continue?
I think Fleet Foxes is out actually.
I know they made that comment but I heard they will be in the US at a couple fests in June.

Where did you hear that?
Also Mastodon is out. They'll be in Europe.
Somebody other industry ties just said "I don't believe that comment is 100 percent accurate, I'm pretty sure they will do a couple fests in June" when I presented it to them. And bummer on Mastadon.

Your relentless optimism is needed on these boards...but maybe just making the pain of the eventual line-up drop that much worse.
Bonnaroo looks like it is circling the toilet. And half the bands it would take to get me there are already definitely out.
Hey Superfly, You have to earn my attendance! The ship has sailed on me blindly buying tickets because late night shows are fun.
Yeah I'm likely to attend 2 fests this summer but they can't be right after each other. So I'm debating between Panorama, Roo, Shakey, and Gov Ball. Maybe Wayhome too. But my choice will be made based on lineups. I'm also debating on catching lots of tours and just doing one fest.
Everything you have listed doesn't include the inevitable amount that Shaky Knees will take. It's over man. Prepare yourself for a 3rd rate I Heart Music fest from here on out.

I think they may take some but lots of the acts these Europe fests are playing are touring us in spring and heading over at June so that leaves them for shakey. Bon Iver being one example but I can give you more

Wayhome has been fantastic 2 years in a row. I'm probably doing that and gov ball since I live in nyc

Mad Cool Festival looks to eliminate some names that have been tosses around as well I think. Ryan Adams, Lumineers, Warpaint (didn't people think they were confirmed?). I guess "planes" but I think we assume they aren't jolting back to the states right after this right?

Shaky is rumored to be announced Jan 10th, which is supposedly one day before Roo. So this will either be doomsday or "We didn't lose too much, bring on the 11th."
Not sure why everyone's freaking out over the NOS conflicts. Acts touring the Euro circuit probably wouldn't have been snatched up by Roo in any scenario.
Wait until the Shaky lineups drop to actually start freaking out if necessary.
The biggest disappointments from that lineup for me are the smaller ones. Julien Baker, Whitney, Mitski, Weyes Blood or Cymbals Eat Guitars would have all been great Thursday acts. Worried that we're gonna get more crappy YouTube "sensations" to round things out again.
My most optimistic lookout includes: Snakehips, DRAM, Badbadnotgood, Japanese House, Mutemath, Rainbow Kitten Surprise.

I mean the Barcelona Primavera shared 8 acts with Roo in 2015 and 12 in 2014. NOS just confirms that those artists are on the Euro circuit instead of coming back to the US
...St. Vincent, the xx, The National, The Shins, Broken Social Scene, Real Estate, Car Seat Headrest, Pinegrove, Slowdive, Danny Brown, Jesus & Mary Chain, Bonobo, Isaiah Rashad, Maxwell, Ride, Future Islands(?), Francis & the Lights, A Tribe Called Quest, Portugal. the Man, Joey Badass, Big Gigantic, Chic, Rhye, Kaytranada, Queens of the Stone Age, Esperanza Spalding, FKA twigs...
Granted, some of these will likely end up at SK/SB, there is still plenty of potential.
I'm also hesitant to say that Fleet Foxes are ruled out. I don't think they're particularly likely, but certainly not ruled out yet.

you about gave me a heart attack. It's in July
That's what I get for trying to read a foreign festival poster at midnight after drinking
why? that's like a 4 hour drive. Not to mention we already know the Weeknd is playing.
I could be wrong, I know nothing about the distance between the two points - also that would be an exhausting schedule - Bonnaroo would hypothetically be the last stop if they do play

We've assumed that the Weeknd is playing Roo largely BECAUSE of that same tour schedule you've posted. It works out perfectly for him to play.
