Early bird sold out in less than 2 min. Ga Advance sold out in 10. New record. Hope those of you who tried managed to get lucky.
Awesome for them, was hoping this would do well so it could make make it to a year when they can finally use the park instead of Citi Field. Hopefully next year they can expand into the park!

Unfortunately that's not a size/sales issue, that's Queens being a legal and civil nightmare and getting approval to use that park is
Now that I'm commited to 3 days of this, I really really hope they commit to putting down Turf and adding some more atmosphere to it. The bare bones look+feel was totally cool in year one, but with the expansion they need to improve.

I'm sure they'll still sell single day tickets. Lolla sells out of 3 days passes in 5 minutes and they still put out single days. Life is Beautiful also sold out in an hour and they went on to release single days too.
I wanted to wait for single days but I have a feeling this may not even offer that - first Jay Z show in 3 years in NYC is a big deal. This may sell out with just 3 day passes.
I also wonder if the fact that NYC colleges are back in sessions (NYU/Columbia/Pace/Baruch/Pratt/FIT/etc) may give this fest a ticket boost that Gov Ball never had the fortune of getting.
I actually think they might get a negative effect from school being back in session. I'd think more college-aged kids leave the NYC area for school than come back (or at least relatively equal?), plus high schoolers are now back in class too (didn't go to Meadows last year, but I know that's always been a big demographic for gov ball)
I haven't heard. I doubt it. But I would enjoy that a lot too.
I'd also be down for a Hannibal Burress appearance. I am totally addicted to his podcast at the moment.
I think I will be buying a ticket to the BB&T Pavilion date as a night before Meadows warm up.
If youre gonna buy for that tour, you should be prepared for just Nas, Hannibal and Chronixx. At this point in her career, if you are expecting Lauryn Hill to actually show up to a show, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.
