True story. I'm getting a massage right now. I'm pretty stressed out. I have a $16k paycheck coming in at midnight and I'm trying to spend it all in advance. It is kinda stressful. Besides the aromatherapy oils this lady is using are not my favorite.
And it's not like I just value myself by the ridiculous amount of money I make. That's shallow. I judge myself likeost people do, by height. And I've been dunking on fools since middle school.
Aside from Coachella and Panorama, this has my favorite headliners of the U.S. festivals so far.
Has Solange really gotten that much better? I saw her a few years back in the afternoon at Sweetlife fest, and thought she was alright. I haven't listened to her new album either. Should I?

On the topic of the festival, I think the painting reveal gets good marks for trying out a new idea but not as great for execution especially when they send out an email with the headliners before it's done.

Seemed like a take off from Frank Ocean's staircase video. You listen to music in the background, while something is being constructed. At least it was something different. But I don't think it worked in execution either.

Yeah, she was pretty bad when I saw her in 2013. But Tribe and LCD put this toward the top of a very weak field.
If LCD is going to put out new music I'll probably just give in and buy a full weekend ticket since it's not that much more than buying two days. Otherwise, I'll for sure be there Saturday.

LCD is always amazing. Last Tribe album was incredible and they are one of my all time favorite. But I am worried about how they translate to a festival stage these days. I mean it is just pretty much going to be Q Tip and a recording of Phife over a PA, right? Maybe since they are getting headliner/preheadliner money Busta shows up to some of these shows?
I am stoked to check it out, but I am worried it'll disappoint.

I didn't see her at Bonnaroo in 2013, but her new album was fantastic and deserved its accolades. I've read her recent performances have been pretty good as well.
Did I miss something? Why did Billy leave in the first place?
I hate Launchpad more than I like everyone else combined and I'm waiting until he rage quits to come back and post regularly (this is actually the truth). I smelled blood in the water today and went for the kill. I missed. Oh well. Time to go back to my sabbatical. I appreciate all the texts and snapchat urging me on though.
Bought my pass on the Ticketfly app an hour after the headliners were announced. Chose the layaway option - I was charged the Tier 1 amount as opposed to the Tier 2 price increase amount that took effect today.
They're probably fixed this by now but wanted to make people aware of it in case they haven't.

You should definitely listen to it. It's my album of 2016. (Not that I'm some sort of tastemaker, it was just my personal favorite.)
I was at the Bonnaroo 2013 performance. It wasn't great. In her defense, it was a scorching hot daytime Which slot, and she had sound issues at Which that threw her off. (Who doesn't?) I haven't seen live reviews of her since then, but I'm hoping that was a fluke. I'd like to catch her somewhere in 2017.
These headliners are a great start to getting me to Pitchfork. The undercard usually holds up. Still bummed I missed Broken Social Scene there last year.

I'm a Priests away from pulling the trigger on this. My wife has never gotten to see LCD and a big fan. It's her personal biggest musical regret of the past few years. We're pricing Air-BnB as I type this.

I actually completely forgot she even performed at Roo 13. I saw her at a completely different fest that year (also middle of the afternoon when it was hot out).. I thought she was ok, but nothing special.
I am very surprised to see her on so many lineups in key spots. I guess that new album must really be that good? I'll give it a listen in a few.
