I made several ridiculous noises when I woke up to these headliners. I knew buying a ticket a couple months ago to head back to Union Park was a smart idea.
That said, I'm in plus one. Easiest. Convincing. Ever.
This post makes me feel lucky.
Should be noted that I could have made the trip on much less. My wife needs things like "flying" and "jacuzzis" and "Pitchfork+". Fortunately, we had the cash on hand. Now fingers crossed I get accepted for media before the 3 day sells out.
I reallly wanna believe that leak. setlistvulture hit my main concern is the Friday start time. I'm cool with a full Friday, I just can't ever remember it happening. Plus, Vagabon on a main and PJ on the Blue (assuming C is the Blue) just feels strange.

FWIW Ticketfly has Friday starting at noon. In the past they had listed 3pm.

Looking more and more like that spreadsheet was real/at least very accurate. Dates are July 17th onward. I guess Benicassim's first day, fly to P4K for Sunday.
ticket purchased. this festival knows exactly how to pull me in i swear. so do we think they'll release the full lineup tomorrow since that's when layaway tickets end?
browsing airbnb while i wait for my fiance to give me the go ahead to get tickets. this is my birthday weekend and i have nothing pressing to spend my tax refund on yet.
I'm now assuming that leaked Excel sheet is accurate until evidence is provided to the contrary
If it's real, the George Clinton booking is very intriguing. They've been treated as a novelty act for years but they've actually been playing really tight lately and putting out some cool shit with Kendrick and whatnot. I'm ready for the George Clinton critical-rehabilitation.

George Clinton live is fantastic. I saw them last year. The venue tends to overcharge for acts (Bone Thugs just played for 40 bucks). Last year George Clinton was 40 and I loved it. They brought them back and I really wanted to go but they were charging 60. So I said forget that.

He's playing near me soon but not able to go, would love to see him.

Was it the standard stuff? A guy on the Coach forums said he saw him at the Brainfeeder show at the Hollywood Bowl and it sounded very different from their normal sound.

It's a hodgepodge of stuff. They do lots of old stuff. Not much of the older lineups left. Lots of young musicians. When I saw them there were at least 8 ppl on stage. They infused funk, soul, hip hop etc. I'd never seen them live before. It doesn't sound like straight up old school funk if that's what you mean. I'd agree with the Meatball when he says they are really tight. Excellent musicians. Basically a party. They give most everybody a chance to shine. I feel like I did a poor job answering but it being my only experience seeing them, I don't know what to compare it to.

I doubt they would release the headliners on Monday and then randomly drop the rest of the lineup on Thursday. FWIW, I'm pretty convinced that spreadsheet is real.
