Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Avalanches tweeted about it around 4:50pm. The cancellation is due to a serious illness in Spank Rock's family. Jamila Woods is replacing the Avalanches on the Green stage.
I'll be getting in on Friday but probably not super early because it turns out I want to like Madame Gandhi's music more than I actually like it. Anyway I'll be wearing the unicorn horn w/rainbow ears again at this festival so it will be very easy to find me. See you all soon xoxo
Are you at Derrick Carter right now? I think I saw you on the livestream lol
Yep! I was front and center for that.
Anyway I'm on my phone so I cant tag anyone but thank you to @ Thor Galore, slack, garageland, and Decaanter for hanging out with me this weekend. Highlights were: Priests, Dawn Richard, Vince Staples, LCD, Jeff Rosenstock, Arab Strap, PJ Harvey, ATCQ, Kilo Kish, Derrick Carter, and Solange. Shout out also to the Goose Island/SURVIVE collaboration beer. Shout out to the blue stage. Shout out to the water fountain for still having exceptionally long ass lines.
Also, I was really mad at the avalanches for cancelling but then I finally had some really shitty kefir and some really good beer and that put it all in perspective.
Great weekend, y'all. I ended up missing Saturday night due to a little spill I took at the festival so I didn't see ATCQ/PJ/Angel Olsen and apparently I missed some sets of the weekend. I did make it to the Priests after show and it ruled. It sucks about Avalanches but I'm glad you guys are on board with family first. Fingers crossed for a return. I also met a ton of amazing people (shouts to you guys) and a huge shout to PMO for hooking my friend up. She went both days and had an awesome time.
I also lost my shit at Solange.

That was a great weekend. My feet hurt late Sunday so I bailed before American Football, which sucks but I liked it overall. Spent way too much money at the record fair, but found the ONE record I've been looking for for two years.
Here's to the inevitable Avalanches return set in 2018! Still super bummed about it.
Thanks to shuck and Dr. Joe for hanging out on Friday. Wish I could have met more people.
Highlights:
LCD* Jeff Rosenstock Vince Staples Derrick Carter ATCQ Colin Stetson Nico Jaar
*I thought the Lolla set was better but I was also front row for that. Might try and swing the Aragon shows or the MSP date.
Awesome weekend. Pitchfork will continue to be my go to annual festival for the foreseeable future. Affordable pass, chilled out crowds (for the most part), and great location - Union Park is such a dope spot. Each trip I make to Chicago makes me want to move there more and more.
Favorite sets by day, in no particular order:
Friday: Priests Dawn Richard Thurston Moore Group LCD Soundsystem
Saturday: Cherry Glazerr Arab Strap Francis and the Lights PJ Harvey A Tribe Called Quest
Sunday: Colin Stetson Derrick Carter Hamilton Leithauser Ride Nicolas Jaar Solange
If I had to pick a favorite, it'd be either LCD or ATCQ. Jaar's set really stood out to me yesterday after not getting into it as much as I would have liked at Coachella. Maybe it was the trippy screen visuals featuring a zoomed in shot of the Sears Tower, but everything about his set clicked. I've listened to 'Sirens' 3 times since the end of the festival.

1. Danny Brown(Sorry if you heard me yelling lyrics on the left side of the stage) 2. LCD Soundsystem 3. Madlib 4. Nicolas Jarr 5. Dirty Projectors
Only set I saw that I didn't care for all weekend was Priests. Band was fine but the lead singer was pretty piss poor in my opinion, though it was the first set on that stag of the week and could have been sound issues. This was an amazing lineup.
