Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Killers, Cold War Kids, Foster the People, The Struts, Zelda, Sunflower Bean, The Green, and others will make this a decent vacation in the sand and sun.
I'm really hoping we get some bluegrass and/or jammy blues performers. Lumpkin was one of my faves last year.

Everyone’s been to quite on here lately so since in the other boards a lot of people are pissed about Eminem playing I’d really like to petition that we get a change of one of their fests gets chainsmokers and we get Em. Idc what anyone says still one of the greats and when i saw him at shaky knees personally was awesome live....yes I’m still upset about chainsmokers headlining weeks later lol
For me he's more of a shitty booking based on his cost. He doesn't hardly ever tour so I know in the past his booking fee for one-off festivals was very high. I honestly prefer him over Drake, J Cole, and Mackelmore but I'd much rather have Jay-Z, Kanye, or Kendrick if we're talkin upper echelon rap/hip-hop artists. His Lolla show left a lot to be desired. Production sucked and there was so much lip syncing over backtracks. As some1 who really enjoys his old stuff like many do, it was a letdown. That being said it could def be worse.

See for me he’s still above anyone in rap/hip hop. I’m still pumped with Kendrick cuz out of newerish rappers this past generation he is for sure my favorite and takes the crown. I’ve heard some of his fest shows weren’t good but man when i saw him at music midtown which is smaller compared to those he has an awesome live band special guest and great production as well as i don’t recall him ever lip syncing tbh. He’s someone i still have plenty of music love for well other then last album it was truly shit lol. Come with older stuff i would be happy comemwkth mostly a new album i would want to leave his show probably
Kendrick is the best there is at the moment. So that's a quality score for Hangout. Only question mark is how long does he play. I can't see them giving him a traditional 2 hour headliner set, and last time I saw him was scheduled for a 90 minute set and rapped maybe 60-65.
Hangout really isn't that bad if you can find shows to go to. I think Pussy Riot will get arrested for defaming the American and Russian Presidents in Alabama where that is probably against the law.
Then there's always Ron Gallo, Portugal, St. Vincent, A.Paak, Manchester Orchestra and Slightly Stoopid. Nice for a free festival for sure or a 150.00 but...

Eminem played at my 1st Bonnaroo (Saturday, I think) & I was just whupped by that time of the day & so I stumbled back to my tent about the time he was getting started. Probably heard a little of it before I passed out. Good times...
I would certainly take him over the freaking Chainsmokers! Of course, I'd take alot of acts over them.
I'm pretty meh about going this year. I like the Sweetwater lineup a whole lot more. I may go to the beach this year but, not during Hangout. I looked back through old photos and lineups and then....the 2018 lineup...meh. I'm sure someone likes it, but just not a show/music I listen to. I have gigs of music and only a couple songs from the Killers.
LOL. It's sure not to make the best US fest lineup of 2018. What I'd be willing to see, and what I'm hoping will be on Couchella since I'll still watch the fuck out of it:
Friday: Jamiroquai, St. Vincent*, Vince Staples*, Soulwax, Jean-Michel Jarre, Troyboi*, Moses Sumney, Greta VF, Skip Marley*
Saturday: David Byrne, alt-J, Fleet Foxes, Chic, Angel Olsen, blackbear, Marian Hill*, Alina Baraz*, Highly Suspect, Black Madonna, Benjamin Booker*, Flatbush Zombies, Ekali, HUNDRED mfn WATERS*, Cherry Glazerr, Ron Gallo*
Sunday: Eminem, Portugal. The Man, Migos, A Perfect Circle, Kamasi Washington*, 6lack, Amine, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Princess Nokia*, Barclay Crenshaw* (Claude VS), Giraff age*
It's not worth the trip from New Orleans to the Desert in any universe, but there is interesting shit as well as shit I'd have to research. Early Top 10 wants for TV:
1. Hundred Waters 2. David Byrne 3. Jean-Michel Jarre 4. A Perfect Circle 5. Eminem 6. Fleet Foxes 7. Vince Staples 8. St. Vincent 9. Kamasi Washington T. Portugal
Solid weekend for me to be sure with just those 10 acts. There's plenty of other shit I like on it and then shit I don't give any fucks about.
gotta say if you take away the lazy factor of hangouts booking of high repeats it looks a lot better compared to these other fests, Coachella included which is brutal and not just for their standards save a few acts. Gov Ball just dropped another trash lineup too. My favorite lineup so far is E Forest and thats way too complicated for me to get to

Gov ball is a decent enough lineup. but i agree most lineup drops so far this year are underwhelming next to HOF. Yea sure coachella has twice as many acts but when it comes down to it you're only gunna see 7-9 full shows a day if you dont split sets. plus that beach

Bob, they just dropped the Coachella & Governor's Ball lineups. Mn, that is the lamest Coachella lineup I've ever seen. Governor's Ball lineup much superior, IMO. Hope to see you out & about this year :-)
That was a Hell of a win, Krisp! For awhile there in early 4th, I thought they might pull it out, after getting to where I thought you'd just pull away. Very clutch play by that young man. Hope UGA whups Bama (said by an Auburn fan). I do think Bama is the favourite, though. Go Dawgs!!

Sweetwater 420 the only lineup I've seen that interests me. Hangout 2018 on life support for me. I'm going to the beach. I have two tickets. Just not sure 5-10 ok bands worth that festival if most of you aren't going. Actually enjoy beach more without a crowd in town.
Man, Eagles tickets at the Bridgestone like $300-400. I've seen the whole band several times so gonna pass on those prices. Nashville really is music city. Probably spend more time and money sitting in a seat to watch my concerts this summer.
how is gov ball trash? its my second fav lineup i've seen this year.
we have pretty different tastes. i live 2 hours from NY with a possible free place to stay and have no interest in going at all. Im not much into Boston Calling either but its surely much better.
Any guess on when the adds drop? Roo drops 1/9. I have an opp to work VIP bar at Roo. I am so hoping Hangout will add some funk, jam, rock, bluegrass, Americana, etc. Golden Voice has been total fail to date. Opportunity to redeem for sure. I so want to go to the beach for a good music festival. So far, this is not.

Aww man, it’s not that that bad. I’ve been digging through the poster and have found quite a few things I’m excited to see. However, I don’t think they even officially added anyone last year, just added artists when the dailies came out. I remember this because half moon run got nixed. 😐
