I'm fairly certain it will be the best lineup they've ever had. That's typically how things pan out for me when I get cockblocked by work obligations. So I'm expecting Gorillaz, Nine Inch Nails, Kendrick Lamar, QOTSA, Ween, and Primus to be announced. Followed by me pouting for the rest of my life.
If that is the lineup, nothing will stop me from being there. LOL I will take that ticket off your hands either way though.

Don't do that to yourself man! Itll be 21 Pilots, Imagine Dragons and Bastile featuring Chad Kroger...

LOL. Not likely unless they are opposed by something better. Imagine Dragons hasn't played in a while, and I don't hate them as much as most people do because I've never seen them. But I wouldn't want them higher than 4th or 5th.
Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Kendrick, Wu-Tang?

Imagine Dragons aren't horrible. I took Kyle to see them when they did the free show a few years ago. I have been to way worse.
Green Day - Gorillaz - NIN - Prophets of Rage - Alt J And I'll give you all my money.
I'd probably skip my friends wedding that weekend for this lol
Gotta be a big rap act and a few mid carders. Last year had G-Easy, Rae Sremurd, and Tory Lanez on Friday. Kevin Gates was also supposed to play. G-Easy went to college here, so he's a little bigger in NOLA than many other places though he had a massive crowd at Lolla on the stream. All those acts were Friday, so if C3 is going that route for Fridays maybe Vince Staples, Migos and Kendrick or Chance? I still don't think Chance would play here 4 times in 12 months, but I could be wrong.
I'm one of the few people who admits on here liking Green Day but they're also playing local to me at the Wharf so I would honestly love the hell out of it being Kendrick-Gorillaz-NiN actually if that happened would probably be one of my favorite list of headliners together this year besides outside lands

No shame in it, I love Green Day and their stupid "I say HEY HEY-HO HO" style performances. That said, I saw them a month ago in Houston, and I really want to catch gorillaz on this tour.
Them not coming close to me kind of blows though, holding out hope for voodoo or maybe even ACL to get my Gorillaz fix.

Agree been planning a trip to Life is Beautiful this year but also waiting to see the lineup there and acl. Pretty much trying to see Gorillaz at a fest but also with which lineup my group likes better lol.
The shithead Bears are playing the Saints that same weekend which is AWESOME but at the same time it's killing me with flights down and back that weekend from Chicago. Brutal.

Totally selfish, but I LOVE when the Saints play at home during voodoo for one reason only...my ex will be nowhere near Voodoo since he is a season ticket holder. And that is my actual birthday this year. Happy mother fucking birthday to me!

Looks like Southwest still has Want to Get Away "TO" fares of $180 (probably $200 with fees which is the usual round trip cost). It's a 14 hour drive each way, so if you left Thursday and Monday with a rental or something, you'd only be out about a day travel but far less in cost even with probably 3 fill ups each way. It's easier to do that 1:50 flight for sure but with the cost factors weighed in, it could make sense. I've driven there and back from here pretty easily. Spirit has a one way back to Chicago for $217 at the moment so that would be about $400 round trip. We have a queen and full in the front room which is where cmack stayed last year. But we got another bed in the meantime, so you certainly have a place to crash if you need it and can put up with the party people.
Yeah I still got the hotel booked from December last year at a great rate so that part is good to go. We honestly may look into driving down and flying back if this does actually happen.
Looks like we're safe from Kings of Leon. Playing Friday, Saturday of voodoo and don't play three dates in a row all tour.
They are also playing Jazz Fest Sunday May 7, so it was probably unlikely anyway. Glad. I don't hate them, but they take up space for things I'd want to see.

Any chance the headliners look like Kendrick - LCD - Gorillaz
LCD supposedly has a new album on the way and have been hitting smaller NA fests. They were at ACL last year, so maybe they'll hit Voodoo cause it's also booked by C3. I'm also holding out for QOTSA, ATCQ, or Tame Impala.
