LCD supposedly has a new album on the way and have been hitting smaller NA fests. They were at ACL last year, so maybe they'll hit Voodoo cause it's also booked by C3. I'm also holding out for QOTSA, ATCQ, or Tame Impala.
QOTSA seem like a good possibility. Idk about LCD Voodoo is a smaller fest but usually has big name headliners. Last year had three #1's. Love LCD but don't think they fit that bill.

Those three headliners are not very Voodoo Festy. They always have at least one rock band and I wouldn't consider any of those three to fall under that.
If you told me QOTSA (or NIN), Kendrick, LCD that might be more feasible. I personally just don't see LCD as a name that Voodoo would go after.
I kind of agree with y'all. Kendrick is 100% modern Voodoo and I think it's about 50/50 he will play. He's only on tour until August, and he hits Houston, Dallas and Duluth GA but not here. Gorillaz could play a Sunday indie HL spot or sub-HL spot. I don't think LCD would get traction. But I don't know the tendencies of C3 yet when it comes to booking Voodoo. I still think it's something like Nine Inch Nails, Kendrick Lamar and Green Day. Queens, Afghan Whigs, an alt-J seem to be reasonable expectations as well. We're about 4-5 weeks from the announcement.
Could be. I could swear Pretty Lights during his video shoot and pop-up show mentioned he'd see us next at Voodoo. I asked 5 other people around me if they heard the same thing, and nobody else was listening. If he did say it, it doesn't necessarily mean he/they will be playing at Voodoo Fest itself since they have been doing pop-up shows under bridges and other unsanctioned random events from time to time. I missed PL last time Derek played Voodoo because I was at Foo Fighters.

Not much would make me happier than system of a down on the lineup. They would fit perfect in that slot. And with European dates already out they've got to come stateside soon.

It is that saint's day in June. Bastille day or some bullshit. It is usually around June 22.
Edit: Saint-Jean-Baptiste day... I think. It is June 24 this year.
I think that Saint's Day is always the 24th and might have been earlier years when they did it? Last year they announced on June 8th. 2015 it was June 18th. It looks like it was June 19th in 2014. So we're basically 4 weeks or less from the release.

So, we also found the person who he stole that profile picture from... It is a real person's ID he stole. I don't know if you remember all that shit, but we called him out on it and it was absolutely amazing. We also reported him, because catfishing (is that what it is) is real and wrong. LOL
Like I said, I literally met some of my closest festival friends from that ordeal. We have our own group on facebook called I'm Not Tim and we meet up at Voodoo every year. My dude Jeff moved to Europe with his wife though last year. We really miss him. They are all such good peeps.

I think we did pull him into that whole thing, but it was a bit too much for him. LOL. Voodoo turned off posting to their wall after that all went down. We broke the system. LOL Every year we still go on the page and harass Voodoo and drop teasers (the social media person for Voodoo probably hates me) and sometimes add people to the group that we like due to the fucked upness that is Voodoo.
Mike was one of the original members of I'm Not Tim, after Jeff started the group he invited those the most vocal and that actual had input (I was one of those vocal people, imagine that). I really liked Mike and he would tell us that we should go on inforoo. He would tell us rumored headliners and which festivals we should go to (Bonnaroo was always on that list). He was pretty fucking awesome.

sure as hell hope they don't jack up the prices; first time that I haven't been able to get LOA passes presale...
it wouldn't surprise me if prices increased, it's always struck me as an underpriced festival. Even at full price it's what, $140 for three days, when festivals of a similar size and quality are between $200-300.

So if it's under $400, I'm probably going to get one. Maybe they'll up the perks a little as well. If it was free booze, it would be a no-brainer.

absolutely. loved my LOA experiences up until 2014, when the shrunk the size of the LOA front row area. Of course that was before they shuffled everything around, how was LOA front row last year?

Voodoo have just updated their website. Forget about them upping the perks, it looks like they've taken away the whole point of VIP. No more front stage access unless you get the Platinum package. www.voodoofestival.com/tickets/

Haha. I haven't seen Ministry since Lollapolooza 1992. It's definitely a want for me. They'd be an ideal sub or sub sub and they aren't playing here. It's hard to say if they would book them with the potential for alt-j, Afghan Whigs and Queens (in that likelihood of order). I don't know. I wish they'd give a time when they would announce so I could work my way to a final guess which will be 85-90% wrong. Gun to the head early bird:
