I don't even know who to guess about now that NIN, QOTSA and Foo are off the table. Arcade Fire isn't coming back, I can't see the Killers headlining this. Who is even left that is currently touring?
I would trade Kendrick for NIN or Queens in a heart beat.
Look for Kendrick at least 50/50 to be at Buku next year unless he schedules another show between now and then. He played like 3 times last year, same as Chance this year.
Maybe? They played January and played Jazz Fest last year. I love them live here because you already know they will bring out Ivan Neville and George Porter Jr to do a 15 minute funk jam.
Question is are we going to the rail for Galantis or Mello super brotendo?
Haha. Neither. But we will be getting down if you show up.

Depeche Mode's tour ends that weekend and they don't play NO....

I would be happy with that. They are still amazing live.
Yeah none of the 4 I listed or DM are scheduled here. So they would also be super cool to see. It just comes down to how 'pass answered the question. At least its something to think on. If it is indeed Kendrick as the one I got right, then the hope is Metallica,Prophets of Rage and Kendrick. That's ideal for me. If it's the other way, and if Live Nation books as they did last year with a rap headliner Friday, A Tribe Called Quest could make sense. Come on 6am!

I feel like Green Day - NiN - QOTSA would be too much of similar music (or more specifically the same era). Unless there is a 4th headliner in the hip hop/rap genre. Voodoo always kind of spreads out the headliners to different genres.

If it's that, Queens are probably sub for NIN and get the Cage spot before Tool last year. There will still be a few rap acts (Ice Cube or Wu Tang would be great too) and undercard rap acts again depending on how the question was answered.

I don't understand what's happening in this sub... Dude asked:
"I know one of you guys has some information on the rock side. Can you tell me if I whiffed on all 4 of the guesses:
Nine Inch Nails Kendrick Lamar Green Day Queens of the Stone Age
And assuming I at least missed a few of those, Foo Fighters?"
Response came:
"One of these - the one that isn't rock"
And now we're all assuming that means Kendrick Lamar is IN and everybody else OUT? Just to clarify, that's grammatically OPPOSITE of what was said. I'm not saying the assumption is wrong, but forming that strong of a completely opposite opinion seems... strange. I would 100% read that as him "whiffing on" Kendrick because of how the question was phrased.
But it's all academic, lineup drops tomorrow. I'm not driving nine hours to see a rapper who will play any festival in any town, thanks. He'll be back in my hood in about ten minutes.
In Bloom Festival 3/18-3/19 Houston, Texas Rock Werchter Festival 7/5-7/8 - Werchter, Belgium Mad Cool Festival 7/12-7/14 - Madrid, Spain Austin City Limits 10/5-10/7 - Austin, Texas

Kendrick totally rocks dude. I think you're looking too much into it bro

I think we are just erring on the side that infinitypass didn't totally follow estebans question. What does whiffed even really mean?
Whiff in this case is a strike(swing and.a miss). Tom understood the question and answer as I did. And I'm perfectly happy with Nails. That's A+. And also Postjack is right if it was backwards. And in that case, Kendrick is A+ as well. But Nails and Queens are slightly more preferable for me all the same.

My interpretation was infintypass simply took those names and told which one would be there, and didn't follow the exact question that was asked. I find that much more likely than 3 of the 4 listed were correct. But hey, we'll see tomorrow.

Either way it's a win but I'd prefer NIN and QOTSA. If Kendrick is there that's great, but if no NIN or Green Day I get scared about who the "rock" act will be.
Lots of good. Lots of shit. Prophets of Rage, Foo Fighters, Kendrick, LCD, RL, Afghan Whigs, Black Angels. Enough goods to combat the shit I don't like such as Post Malone, Louis the Child, Galantis, etc. will look more later and see if I want Platinum.
How do The Killers still get headliner status? People actually listen to them?
There are some good acts on here but this is even more underwhelming than last year. If I lived in NOLA I'd be more into it since there's minimal effort /logistical costs to do it.
LCD Black Angels Prophets of Rage Charles Bradley Crystal Castles (are they even good without Alice?)
Kendrick. Dude is hyped up to all hell and plays every festival. I haven't seen him. I went to see him at Hangout several years back and he dicked off and was super late, plus they had some lame "let's get random goobers from the crowd to come up here and rap" as a stall tactic. Left out of disgust. I don't really listen to rap at all but I would go check out his whole set.
Tired of Foo Fighters. They're cool and all, but I'm just over them.
DJ Snek. What's his deal? I see his name is he like Khaled and produces derp-pop with superstars? EDIT: I see he's responsible for "Turn Down For What". fakkkkkkkkk this guy.
Have no clue who most of the acts are. I'm sure there is some good ones in there though.
