You guys didnt miss too much. If you are a huge Tribe fan you may have enjoyed the show no matter what, and gushed about the sentimentality or whatever. But in all honesty, they were really boring and didnt sound very good.
I imagine as a Tribe for or a hip hop fan your enjoy it. As a "Ill check this headliner out" type-fan you'd be bored.
Some of the people I went to p4k with didn't really know who they were and they loved it. I'm sure if you really didn't know anything about them then it would be odd to see them just playing recordings of verses without Phife. To each there own though.
Set might still be available on YouTube for a few days. I got to see Metallica today when I was too tired most of last night.
I plan on catching Schoolboy Q, Action Bronson and The Who. I hope you have a good time. That's really a cool festival that focuses on music a little more than some others.

Action was enjoyable, but short. Think it was only like 35 minutes.
Watching The Who on the livestream is taking me back to them being my favorite band when I was in 8th grade, but I really don't think I could go back to listening to their music. Just hasn't aged with me nearly as well as most of their compatriots, even if Tommy and Quadrophenia remain two of the most brilliant albums of all time
But also Baba O'Riley and Won't Get Fooled Again fucking kicked ass. Roger nailed that scream at the end.
Hamilton Leithauser (part) Henry Rollins spoken word Electric Guest (p) Shovels and Rope (p) Belle and Sebastian (p) Little Dragon Gorillaz (most)
First day was a lot of checking out random stuff around the fest. Tribe postponing here was a real bummer. Probably could have seen 1-2 other acts but the lady was struggling with the wind and the cold much of the time. Ended up leaving Gorillaz a half hour early because of it.
Warpaint (part) Thundercat (most) Royal Blood Kaytranada (p) Cage The Elephant Metallica
Would of liked to have seen more of Thundercat and Kaytranada, but overlaps sucked on Saturday. Tribe cancelling helped a little bit with running back and forth at the end. Can't say I saw anything bad on Saturday, but wasn't feeling Warpaint that much for whatever reason.
Bleachers (part) Young The Giant (p) Khruangbin (p) Action Bronson Lorde (most) Schoolboy Q (p) The Who
Got bored with Young the Giant, should of just went to Khruangbin from the start. Action Bronson's set was way too short. Lorde's set got boring at times but ended solid. Wish I could have seen the full Schoolboy set, but was weird he did a bunch of Kendrick covers. The Who was awesome - was my lady's favorite set of the weekend and my second favorite after Metallica, who I hadn't seen before this weekend.
