Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'll get back to work on it later tomorrow or something
Jay-z - Foo Fighters - The Killers - 21 Pilots Kygo - the Lumineers - My Morning Jacket - Kaskade - Alt-J Run the Jewels - Odesza - Nick Murphy - Of Monsters and Men Beach House - Porter Robinson - Galantis - Slowdive - Gramatik
I'd let Russia interfere with the election again if that's the lineup we could get!
Instead what you will get is Russian interference in Bonnaroo, now the only drink allowed in Roo is vodka and Pussy Riot got a #1 headlining slot.
Their show at Glasto was one of my favorites ever and I hated Drones.
And honestly I consider the Drones shows their worst ever as a whole. And I still thought Glasto was really good so that's saying something. I don't think their shows from 10+ years ago can be beat though.
Seeing Plug In Baby on the Pyramid was all I really needed.
Coldplay, Foo Fighters, and Muse are WAY overdue.... and not terrible headliners compared to the last few ROO's. I will be so sad if they miss out on BOTH Gorillaz and Outkast. Hopefully Gorillaz play shows again next year. Also, Roger Waters.
why would missing out on outkast be a thing if they are probably not playing any shows anyways
That is my point exactly. They already missed out on Outkast, even though they booked them for Forecastle (same company) instead. And it was an amazing show. Now they aren't playing shows anymore, but Gorillaz are. So, if they still are next summer.... please?
Also they tend to book similar bands between Roo/Forecastle/Outside Lands so IF Gorillaz tour again..... the odds are in our favor. And this board will have action again.

Fleetwood Mac would be a great top act, but if the reports of U2's underattended set are true, this may not be the fest for them anymore. Lock 'em in for Lolla or something.

If they only would have had added more acts that align with U2

And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts

I would love one of Roger Waters, David Gilmour, The Cure, Fleetwood Mac, Depeche Mode, Aerosmith, Springsteen, Radiohead, Muse, Coldplay, Will Smith, or Timberlake.
Waters and Fleetwood Mac are the only two that feel very possible at this point.
21 Pilots, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Lana Del Rey all feel possible too, right?

Please no Aerosmith or Katy Perry.
Maybe I'm giving Roo too much credit, but even if 21 Pilots release a new album, it's hard to see them headlining any time soon. Leave them for the Fireflies and Hangouts of the world.
I got an email from Bonnaroo, asking me to take a survey because I skipped this year. They asked how I would change Bonnaroo, if I would recommend it to friends, and asked for 1 headliner and 2 undercard acts I'd like for next year. I told them to spend less money on Instagram DJ's, have the music go later at night in the tents with more diversity of genre, and get rid of the camping pass. I asked for Fleetwood Mac, Hot Chip, and New Order.

Me too
I also asked for more genres and more late night sets with longer set times. I asked for Foo Fighters, St. Paul and the Broken Bones and The Arkells

The Cure - Arcade Fire - Phish - Future - Phoenix - Pretty Lights
Yes, Phish can and will headline again. We are 53 weeks removed from Dead & Co headlining. I know the fest has changed but it's still Bonnaroo and will have some jam presence.
Though, I don't think that's the formula that results in Phish headlining. I think 1 and 2 would be super expensive and they would book Phish as a cheap 3.

It's very early for next year but I guess I'll take a stab at predicting for 'Roo 2018. I'll just start with my Top 5 and narrow it from there later on...
Headliners: Drake or Kendrick / (female artist) / The Chainsmokers / Arcade Fire / "We shall see"
1) No doubt about it, Drake and Kendrick Lamar are two of the hottest R&B/hip-hop stars now, and as we all know they are no stranger to festivals. May be too soon for Kendrick though.
2) I think next year Bonnaroo may finally get its first female solo headliner. Beyonce definitely comes to mind with this, since its already written in stone she'll do Coachella next year. That slot could also go to Katy Perry, Gaga or even Taylor Swift (won't be too far from her house).
3) The Chainsmokers, as we all know, are burning up the charts currently with single after single, and they are hitting the arenas this year. They drew a big crowd last year at 'Roo. I remember standing so far away from their light show. , 4) Arcade Fire is one of the rock acts I had in mind, but I could also see them being that "big act that plays on the What or Which Stage before the Headliner" act. Weird things have happened.
5) My invisible crystal ball says there could be a classic band/artist that would announce a big tour for 2018. They would play all the festivals as well. This would be someone we wouldn't expect to get back together or tour. Usually these things are announced in November, December or early 2018. In 2007, it was The Police. In 2014, it was Outkast (yes, I know they didn't play 'Roo). In 2016, it was LCD Soundsystem. It could be someone out of nowhere, like R.E.M., Talking Heads or any other random act.
