There really aren't any besides Kanye and Kendrick. They could get away with someone like Future being billed in the top 5. Doesn't have to be a hip-hop headliner imo.
or we can just hope for a heavy featured set with Gorillaz. And have snoop as the top rap/hip hop spot.
No real celebrity shows up to Manchester, Tennessee for a guest spot.

Nas guested with the Beasties in '09. Stevie Nicks did Stop Draggin' My Heart Around with Tom Petty in '07. Robert Kennedy Jr. addressed the crowd before Springsteen.
I'd rather see Nicki Minaj at Roo than Drake or Eminem. It would at least be a unique booking.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, she puts on one of the best shows I've ever seen. Great stage presence and production, doesn't have the crowd do half the songs for her. I don't think she would really get booked for festivals yet though, maybe her fourth album will change that but she's so polarizing for many that I can't see it happening. That said, I definitely agree with you, IMO she runs circles around Drake as far as being a performer goes, and as technically skilled as he is I just can't stand Eminem.
Roger waters The Who Phil Collins Peter Gabriel Not getting my hopes up for Genesis reunion David Byrne (would he? Or pre headliner?) Metallica Drake (surprised this hasn't happened, don't care for him just a good top rap/hip hop name) Arcade Fire Gorillaz NIN Muse No doubt (best female headliner imo unless Fleetwood Mac) The strokes The killers

I was listening to new releases on spotify and I could ABSOLUTELY see at least one person in the booking department suggesting they book Calvin Harris and as many rappers and artists off his new album so that they can do a superjam or headlining set with all those people performing their songs live. Not advocating it but at some point I could see that idea being thrown out there.

A Calvin Harris in the top three would've been worst case for me this year but with this new album I would be less disgusted. It could be a fun set but it'd have to be paired well for me. Drake - Foo Fighters - Calvin Harris

I'm surprised at the positive reviews here of his album since I know typically it's usually negative when we talk about him but I agree. I amnot really a rap fan at all (especially of all the new popular rappers) but I kind of really like his album.
I guess we're talking ourselves into Calvin Harris now.
I get what you're saying, but I don't think that's what's happening. There's going to be some garbage on the Roo lineup next year, I don't think discussing which garbage is going to be there and how garbage it's going to be is "talking ourselves into" it.
