Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I feel like odesza will be there and probably the top 4-6. They are 4 at the Superfly fest in AZ, have been near the top of lineups recently, and are putting out a new album in September.

I'm thinking Odesza and Kaskade could be #5 and 6 like Major Lazer and Flume were this year. I'll definitely be at Roo if that's the case.
I'm getting pretty tired of this "are we really talking about _____?" Yes, we are. Bonnaroo is going to be pretty bad next year, and there's going to be garbage on the top line and all throughout the lineup. We aren't discussing what we want to be at Bonnaroo as much as we are discussing what could probably be at Roo.

Kaskade would be a definite upgrade over Major Lazer. Odesza and Flume are about equal but I guess something has to go into that bassless electronic music with vocal samples that sound like the mice from Cinderella slot.
Not a headliner* Odeza Kaskade RTJ Arctic Monkeys TWOD
I think Odesza and Kaskade would be #5 and 6. The reason I'm discussing this in the headliner thread is because I think discussing anything in the top 8-10 is more fit for the headliner thread than the undercard thread.
I agree with you, Bonnascoot, but for future reference don't take me so literally. I was being serious when I said I don't want to talk about Odesza though. Just reading their name bores the shit out of me.
Ah, you're the billing order guy, just putting two and two together.
Opportune time to update this post.

Kaskade is billed #19 at Lollapalooza. Do you think they would jump up that far by next year? I can still see Kaskade being in the top ten though.
I also think we're due for a Bassnectar return. Odesza and Bassnectar being on the second line would make sense to me.
I would be surprised if they didn't have Bassnectar. Pretty Lights is just as overdue though. But then again, with Live Nation in the mix I could see a first timer like Martin Garrixx as well. The change has made it difficult to predict.

You got to that while I was typing. Lolla's billing this year makes my skin crawl for so many reasons. Kaskade was #13 at Roo in 2014 and has moved up since then. Maybe he wouldn't be #6 but no lower than 8-9.
I guess we're talking ourselves into Calvin Harris now.
I get what you're saying, but I don't think that's what's happening. There's going to be some garbage on the Roo lineup next year, I don't think discussing which garbage is going to be there and how garbage it's going to be is "talking ourselves into" it.
That's fair, and I admit I was mostly just being cheeky and going for a low hanging fruit joke.
BUT, the context of the discussion re: Calvin Harris was him headlining Roo, and I think discussing a potential garbage top 3 act is a bit different than having realistic expectations that there's going to be garbage throughout the undercard or even the top 10 of next year's lineup. There isn't much positive spin you can put on having Calvin Harris as a headliner, and I think the way we were trying to somewhat downplay how shitty that would be reflects how much expectations have lowered for Roo.
