Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Look at what ACL and Lolla have this year and you can probably figure out half the lineup right there. Leave some room for the rising but overbooked acts, generic Sirius XM alt nation, xmu, bmp one hit wonder artists, and finally like 3-5, oh that's cool, but why didn't they book anybody else for that audience artists and you have yourself a lineup.
Oh, and Future, because he's the artists we deserve but not the one we need.
I'm thinking Odesza and Kaskade could be #5 and 6 like Major Lazer and Flume were this year. I'll definitely be at Roo if that's the case.
Kaskade would be a definite upgrade over Major Lazer. Odesza and Flume are about equal but I guess something has to go into that bassless electronic music with vocal samples that sound like the mice from Cinderella slot.
I guess Ed In a interview said they're touring next year. I know they have to hit up South America, but how likely are the chances they can hit up some festivals here?

That new Jay-Z tour is interesting. Almost seems like it could have more dates added to it in 2018, just my opinion. Here in Ohio they are only running Cleveland, which I thought was odd. And they are doing Nashville early so that wouldn't rule him out for Bonnaroo I wouldn't think.

It shouldn't but don't Foo Fighters also have a Nashville date? I think we can rule out one of them because two headliners coming to Nashville within a year prior doesn't seem smart at all.

I agree with that. Are FF touring through Live Nation? If I were LN I would probably wait to see if the Jay-Z concert sells out in Nashville and how quickly tickets move and then base it on that if he were to be at Bonnaroo. That's assuming they wouldn't already have a deal in place when he signed that contract, I'd think they would put in there that he has to work a few festivals of theirs over the how many ever years the contract is for.

Every show is probably gonna sell out instantly since that's just how arena tours work now.

It really depends on the artist and region. Kanye's Pablo shows didn't sell out for a while here, and even Roger Waters here has tickets still available the day before the show.

In Atlanta, I have to be on the dot to get arena tix to any show, but the best spots always sell out instantly no matter where.

Atlanta shows selling out super quick makes sense, at least you guys get every artist under the sun to come play shows.

It's pretty great. I think in terms of live shows, Atlanta has gotta be up there since we got every tour as well as Shaky Knees and we're not that far from Roo, Hangout, and Lolla.
Jay-Z/ Foo Fighters/ Arcade Fire/ Lana Del Rey Future/ Kaskade/ Odesza/ QotSA
This would be the best case possible. And honestly I don't think it's unreaslic. This followed by a solid poop undercard. Depending on how I liked it I'd probably aim to do this.

Atlanta also has good venues at every capacity level. The Earl > Variety > Tabernacle > Philips, etc. We just saw Metallica at SunTrust Park last night and the venue did a great job with everything.
