This lineup at least feels much more unique to other fests this year than last year's did. There's several names that haven't popped up at all on other lineups.
Think that has a lot to do with the fact that they are catching a lot of this stuff after already playing the other fests within the last couple of years and are at the end of a cycle (Paak, Bon Iver, Sturgill, etc).

Pretty sure Paak and Sturgill will both have new records out this year

GONNA TELL EVERYONE TO LIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTTEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNN UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!
The sad part is Sheryl Crow would be in my top 30 playing this year. I think I counted 29 bands I would see. That's really low. The great roos of the past my number was over 50 before even doing any research.
Festive Owl says multiple festivals will have the exact same top line this cycle. That’s gotta be bullshit right? Which fests would even be possibilities for all three of these
Grand Ole Opry - Nice! Def makes up for no Ed Helms
This booking makes the least sense to me of any on the poster (aside from the anointing of Queen Dua Lipa). I have expected Sitch to die the last couple of years because Roo was moving away from that demo, but replacing Helms, a guy most of their target demo has heard of, with a 100+ year institution that 90% of them probably haven't doesn't compute. I'll likely go, if I go to the fest, but I'm not really their target demo anymore.

I'm just happy this lineup doesn't look like a complete copy of all other fests. Some unique acts on here like: Sturgill Simpson, Bon Iver (with two sets!), Sheryl Crow, Anderson Paak, Broken Social Scene, Paramore, Mavis Staples, Revivalists, and Thundercat.

I doubt it. Who is even left? Lolla and ACL both had Killers last year. I know its not the same at Firefly.. Muse could come back to Lolla and finish their set I guess.

Trust me, at 35 I'm def not their target demo either. I haven't missed a bluegrass superjam in the last 4 years. I'm definitely doing Shaky this year though, they are killing it for me, but I'll do Roo too if I can convince my wife to let me spend the money
Better undercard than the previous two years. Much worse headliners.
This.
For my taste, weakest set of headliners since I've been following Bonnaroo (2011 I believe?), but the undercard and lineup as a whole took a step in the right direction compared to the past two years.
Boston Calling and Shaky Knees trump every other lineup so far imo. Bonnaroo has some decent artists but its not stacked top to bottom like it used to be.

I'm a little stunned still.. There's some stuff I've been waiting to see at Roo (Sturgill, Paak, BSS). But it's riddled in with straight garbo. I'll say it again - I fucking haaaaaate Alt J.
AND HOW THE FUCK DID THEY NOT BOOK ALVVAYS ?!???????!
