Seriously, who cares where they were billed? RHCP and Killers are comparable in that they are rock bands who were featured on Target end caps and are now lesser versions of their former selves.

The only other shows I saw in the same neighborhood were U2, PTM, and the XX. Admittedly I fucked up and missed Lorde/Flatbush for the Travis Scott disappointment.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The Strokes will not headline Bonnaroo. I'm definitely outta touch with what the kids consider popular today, but that band has been a joke since I was in high school when I would argue they were at the peak of their popularity. Also they just fuckin' suck. Badly. And they were the worst of the retro/garage rock that came out at the time.
But should I be proven wrong, it will just make it easier to pass on the festival next year.

They put on an amazing performance when I saw them at Shaky Knees '15 and it was super hyped but I know they've been known to bomb lots of their concerts.
The Strokes just came on in the bar I'm at. They won't headline Bonnaroo. Roo doesn't seem to book many debatable headliners and when they do it's not on bands like the strokes
Man I miss the days of Staind, Uncle Cracker, KoRn, Limp Bizkit, Godsmack, System of a Down, Linkin Park, Sevendust, Creed, Our Lady Peace, etc. Thats the music I grew up on as a kid.
