Where does one start with Warpaint? I've really struggled to find anything interesting about them in the past, but I don't think I ever gave it a real shot.
I like their new album a whole lot. Whiteout and especially So Good are standouts to get you started.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Two times in one day for me: where to start with Sphongle?
I'd say Ineffable Mysteries From Shpongleland is a good place to start. Also, if you get stoned prior to listening for the first time, you'll "get it" 100x faster than if you listen to it sober.

With my two thousandth comment, I curse whatever stooge failed to woo the avalanches into a show on the farm.
Blood is on your hands, stooge.
I just curse the numbnuts that have put out two years of mediocre (at best) lineups. I mean fer fucks sakes, AC/S's Outside Lands is levels above their once flagship Bonnaroo. These schlubs (along with LN) need the get their shit together by 2018.

I'm just excited that we have another year to dupe ourselves into believing there is going to be a decent lineup. I know it's going to be trash but I'm going to be posting mocks full of positivity and unrealism too the lineup drops
I heard Shpongle's full band show is to expensive to really tour with. They did it a year, or a couple years ago and lost money on it. I really don't see US festivals booking the full band due to cost. But Shpongletron was great in 2010 (or was it 2011?). It was my first sunrise set at Roo. I hope we get that again on The Other Stage.
A little hopeful after seeing one of the likes on this tweet...
At this point it seems whoever is running that account has no idea these likes are interpreted the way they are by Roo fans. They're probably just like "hey, thanks for the shoutout!" or "hey, that would be pretty cool!" Or it's just auto-liking tweets that mention the Avalanches.
